Excellent piece as usual Cammy. As you say don't hold your breath waiting for an answer from Strathclyde police or rangers. A standard pre-written response at most It wasn't Gav was it. I don't know if we can blame Murray for the nutty professor's on-field signings but we can blame him for not taking a stance against the craziness that politicians and the media are throwing at us, and of course the total mismanagement of our club.

Just to add Gow to the equation, played very promising in the two games he played and then shipped out without another chance. What was that about?

Calscot is right to a certain extent you just can't just bring in all youth players willy nilly. No Team filled with youth players has ever won the league. But Fleck and Aaron should be getting a chance at the top level to see what they are worth. Going on Aarons first ten minutes in the first team he has certainly deserved more playing time. He certainly couldn't have done much worse than Adam.

It is not about age Cal it is about Quality. Adam has been given three years now to show he is not making the grade we are hoping for. The time Fleck and Aaron(not much time) have been called in, the quality of their play added to the quality of the team. Adam did well scoring 15 goals in one season and we all know he can hit a ball but his all round play leaves a lot to be desired. 3 million pounds for lafferty looks to be bad judgement, no matter how old he is.

Personally i still believe given time and management backing PLG would have turned the club around. He did make a few dodgy signings but i believe the money he was promised was bullshit and far less than promised. The amounts mentioned in the press were just to keep the fans happy. And over dodgy signings Walter Smith takes the lead on that count.

Great gesture mate. i wish i could help you. I hope it works out for you. Is there not a charity in Britain for people that have a crippling\terminal disease that helps in giving them a lifelong dream. Maybe they can give him a dream day in the future, like meeting the players and an Ibrox tour before watching a game. All the best mate.

It is the other way with Ajax. Elia played for their youth teams but not found good enough. Now they are going to have to pay to get him back.

Twente bought Elia from Den Haag 2 seasons ago for 800.000 euro's and are now wanting 12mill+ for him. The Gems are there, the scouts are not.

Yes i agree fully that is why i am torn between the two scenario's. I think i would start with Boyd as it might break his confidence for other games but if things were in a stalemate that is the change i would make.

I have two lines of thought in this one, Boyd for his physical presence and possible goal scoring danger. Or put Nacho Novo through the middle as Caldwell and McManus are as slow as shite going through a funnel and milk turns quicker than them. Bring Wilson into the equation, well we all know the grass grows qucker than he can run so it might not be a bad idea to go for the speed of Miller and Novo.

I think that would have to be Rangers own choice as the SPL will want as strong a league possible. Graham Souness once said he wanted a team for Europe and another team for the SPL.

I don't think Walter mentioned u21's playing in the SPL he said a reserve or second team.

Welcome mate. To be honest i can't see anyone getting arrested for singing the HK but I just wonder how much of a tolerance breach of the peace actually gives the police. Do they have to state what you were singing or is the fact you were singing enough?
