  1. He may be too stupid to realise that the (foreign) ref will not tolerate his nonsense in the manner he has come to expect from Scots' officials.
  2. 2m36secs: Broonaldo booked, and quite rightly. The bauchle should hook him now.
  3. Not so much a new dawn, more a Tequila Sunrise.
  4. Police will photograph both the faces and the arses of the Tartan Army. Police Scotland says that this will enable identification of troublemakers, despite objections that it will lead only to confusion.
  5. Wow! A building contract in Edinburgh goes over budget. I've never heard the likes before. It makes you think. It makes you think that they should have looked more closely at their consultants and their mode of procurement. It makes you think that Hertz, ken is not operated by geniuses, or even a genius.
  6. Ffs, FS!! And we used to laugh (and,oh, how we laughed) at the piggery biscuit tin.
  7. "....Like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel...."
  8. At some point a 'floating charge' was placed upon the assets, but that, I think was a few years after the acquisition.
  9. That would have been little more than a standard security, surely?
  10. So far. The type involve always over reach themselves. There is still much to come into play
  11. Too many scumbags filling their boots, and too many side benefits to other vermin for there not to be.
  12. That's not what I meant.
  13. "....wealth off the radar...." was the now infamous description he employed. Off the radar merely because the set was broken.
  14. Edinburgh Licensing Committee would be under some pressure to put the steever in.
  15. Somewhere on this thread it is rumoured that he will go to Ipswich for £800K.
  16. I was not speaking seriously. Mind you.......
  17. He may sue the authorities for traducing his reputation.
  18. The Daily Phantom, twitterer, blogger, and, I am told journalist of this Parish, has published a new piece, immediately (or nearly) following the verdict. It seems to me, naively, possibly, that the content is actionable, if untrue. Perhaps, however, any litigation would place dark matters in the spotlight, and therefore would be unlikely to be pursued . Make your own mind up. Here is the link: http://thedailyphantom.weebly.com/home/whyte-verdict-the-truth
  19. Was Johnston actually 'invited' to join the new Board, or is he there as someone of substance's "man"?
  20. An extraordinary verdict. The jury must have been comprised, majorly, of simpletons.
  21. Like buying a house. In Whyte's case, Ticketus put the money in escrow or a solicitor's cliemt's a/c, allowing Whyte's lawyer to show proof of funds, to be released when/as the deal was signed.
  22. I wasn't actually being serious.......
  23. An extraordinary situation. The terms of the contract could not have been enforced by either party? Does this mean that Bain was working without a contract, on a grace and favour basis, and that he was CEO, by habit and repute?
  24. Unless of course, the rights of redemption, like Bain's contract, are invalid, and unenforceable at law. (Mr Forlanssister's observations on the other thread refer.)
  25. He was probably the best player of his age that Patrick Nevin had ever seen.
