CL quarter final night, and a repeat of the group stage matches where Milan fought for a draw at the Camp Nou but in the battle for top spot at the San Siro between the 2, the Catalans prevailed 3-2. With Messi on fire these days, even more than usual, and the titan that is Thiago Silva missing from the Milan defence, the odds are heavily against the Rossoneri getting anything tonight. Add to that the potential absence of Van Bommel, Robinho and Abate from the home side and even a draw would be a good result. That said, one of Europe's most in-form players, Kevin Prince Boateng should make it, so maybe all is not lost. Cannot see Milan taking anything to Spain though.

Once we're out of this mess and it's next season, a Naismith on the right and Aluko on the left combination is quite mouth watering.

What is the difference between avoid and evade!? As for the date, didn't we apply for admin on Val's day then actually go into it the day after?

Ibrox Noise: Robbed of Four in a Row. For all the jubilation at gubbing them and stopping them winning the league at Ibrox, there lies a horrible feeling of unfairness. Comments and feedback as always, appreciated.

Ok, I'm confused. Rather than saying we've lost, the judge has been reported as refusing to rule. That's quite a different thing.

Ally would talk up ANY bidders. He's not in a position to castigate anyone.

It's a lovely nugget of news on a day where bad news struck first. His injury was the catalyst for the slide into this rotten season. Perhaps his return can rejuvenate the squad.

Craig Whyte ordered to pay estranged wife £5000 a month
Danny replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
That's not the same woman pictured with him in the director's box, who I was led to believe was his missus. -
Lucky thing, I'd love to be sub-thirty again. The finale of Walking Dead? Does this mean Celtic are going bust? Language!

You're on form...I was going to say 'young lady', but you'd take offence. At the young part, probably

I don't hit ladies. Which means I wouldn't strike the majority of posters on here

Your grip would be feeble! *runs a mile*

Yes it is. I am not having a go at you for expressing opinion, nor am I attacking you in any way, although you may have read it differently. I just hate the fact that for years we've laughed at Celtic fans being obsessed with us, and it seems more and more to me these days that Rangers fans are just as bad. The number of blogs I read from Rangers fans about Celtic is quite ridiculous, and your post just seemed, on the surface, to prioritise the reaction of Celtic fans over anything else - symptomatic of what I'm getting at. It appears now that isn't the case so we can move on. I'd shake your hand, but you're not a man, so I'll tip my hat to you and we can move on.

I wouldn't follow tims if you paid me. Unless that's something different to the 'full twitter stream of news' which is a new one to me. Your first reply on here was about Celtic's reaction. That is what I was going on. Just seemed curious that if your first thoughts were immediately about the implications for us, that your first reply in this thread was to laugh at the reaction of Celtic fans. Who gives a fuck what they think?

Glad you're feeling upbeat about it. My first reaction wasn't how Celtic feel about this.

Leggat - CELTIC LAWYERS CHOSEN BY SPL TO PROBE RANGERS
Danny replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I would take this as a pinch of salt. Just because Celtic pay these guys to be their lawyers does not sway their judgement. Lawyers only care about money and winning cases. They don't care about their clients. -
Shameless plug: http://ibroxnoise.co.uk/2012/03/ibrox-noise-crystal-ball.html And I came to no conclusions - guess my crystal ball needs polished. He is undeniably the best option - my objection was his stance as a plan B, but he seems to have stepped up to the plate and actually wants to take us over - add to that the positive press about him, and it's a no brainer at this point.

Craig Whyte ordered to pay estranged wife £5000 a month
Danny replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Having seen her, I wouldn't second that request. -
I made the correction in light of elder Laudrup not playing. Wikipedia claims his absence was due to a fall out with the manager, which actually happened in 1990. He only returned in 1993. Obviously we're talking 20 years ago, hence memory might not be totally reliable, but it actually shows how staggering a victory that was for Denmark that the arguably 'better' Laudrup wasn't even playing.

Here's the difference between Kennedy and Whyte. To this day, not one person has ever defended Whyte or his business practises. Not before his takeover or afterwards. On the other hand, Kennedy hasn't even done anything yet and his colleague here is painting him as a good businessman.
-
Belatedly, Lunny has written to Celtic to ask these comments to be explained. So tweeted by our favourite bear, Chris McLaughlin.
-
I have to admit Kennedy seems, seems to have stepped up his own desire and interest in this. Initially a fall-back crutch (his own words) he now seems to be genuinely interested in actually owning us in his own right, and not just as a 'favour' to us. I get the feeling his Rangers-daft family have nudged him in this direction and given he seems to be a respectable individual who's had a fairly robust career so far, we could probably do a lot worse. The last 2 days have made him my personal choice of all the confirmed bids. Which isn't hard given the other 2 are the controversial Blue Knights and this questionable consortium from Chicago.

Craig Whyte ordered to pay estranged wife £5000 a month
Danny replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Word is we made nothing from that deal. Apparently we hadn't even paid Wien in full for him. He was practically a loan deal albeit a permanent one. Till he moved on. -
Craig Whyte ordered to pay estranged wife £5000 a month
Danny replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
If Whyte had not taken us over, no one would know or care about this. But it does increasingly look like he is worth absolutely nothing. At least, nothing significant, and definitely not the near-billion he was reported to be worth back in the day. -
But his crime was exactly the same as Lennon's. Yet McCall gets a one match ban and absolutely no investigation has been carried out on Lennon at all. Both heavily criticised the referee, and while one was sanctioned mid-game for his crime, the fact Lennon has got off scot-free calling Collum's decision 'criminal' is blatantly unfair. Not just to Rangers who have been castigated by the SPL and SFA in recent times, but to the whole of Scottish football who now see Celtic are apparently immune to punishment while all other clubs get it in the neck if they so much as sneeze. Regan gets to call Rangers 'liars' on top of all this. The partiality within the governing bodies currently in favour of Celtic is completely discrediting this already abysmally backwater league.
