  1. I've not really been keeping as up to speed on the whole takeover situation as others have, but from the limited amount I've seen the whole process appears to be in thorough limbo - I presume we're waiting for admin to accept an offer? I see so much tripe and titillation in the press - from someone suing Whyte, to Whyte saying he's still involved, to various courters getting in their 'we're the best option for the club' soundbites. The one 'relief' I suppose is the league's now finished - this club badly needs fixed, given how shockingly run it's been for the past 20 years, bordering on apparently illegal in places. I just hope one of these bids is the right one, but I won't trust a new owner until they truly put their money where their mouth is. Something Craig Whyte did not do.
  2. Hibs' profit on players is quite stunning. Ok, they're in the pits in terms of their current form, but they've made around 15M!
  3. tbf to Aluko he's clearly keeping his options open. He's saying similar to Jelavic and Cousin - 'happy to stay, happy to leave'.
  4. I do know you. You've more than expressed your personality since you joined this forum.
  5. I don't blame any player for leaving Rangers right now. What I have an issue with is when they bullshit and say they're staying. Don't whore themselves off to everyone else like Bougherra did. But don't say 'I'm staying' and speak all positively all the time. It just makes you look like a judas when you do leave. For example see Cuellar.
  6. I think anyone who ignores the worst case scenario is being incredibly naive.
  7. I'd suggest that someone who puts his life on the line every day he patrols the beat is anything but gutless. One day a guy like him could save someone like you, who got far too heavy with someone who could take him.
  8. You're spot on. His motives were sound but his actions weren't.
  9. How are they getting on with regards their (formerly?) unwavering support towards Craig Whyte? I can't really take them seriously tbh.
  10. In terms of the Rangers situation, Scotland Tonight has been very disappointing in its coverage.
  11. After what he's been tweeting recently and the press comments he's been coming out with, I really would be very disappointed in him leaving. Doon't get me wrong, we're hardly in a great state and we're not exactly attractive right now, but he's been posting and making incredibly positive soundbites - if he jumped ship first chance he got I'd be so disappointed in him.
  12. Is the Usa consortium related to Club 9 Sports.
  13. I can understand him wanting to get a little 'revenge' but did he need to go all Eubank on the guy?
  14. The anti-football jibe from Barca was because they couldn't score. When they failed to score in the first leg V Milan they blamed the pitch. Never their fault, always blame someone else. Fucking hate Barcelona now.
  15. Milan were up against UEFA tonight. When the hell do you EVER see a penalty given during the scramash in the box during a corner. They should given but they never are, yet it was tonight. How convenient. Ibrahimovic was similarly hauled in the box and nothing was given.
  16. Not overly sure what you're saying here. Maybe the typo threw me off?
  17. The caps get me every time.
  18. Dare I say it one of them did pseudo agree with the article but disagreed on my closing comments. There are some among them who do abhor their manager's conduct.
  19. I'm unclear on one thing. The guy who initially assaulted Swanson, is he on trial too? And as a copper, can you tell me if Goodwillie faces the gaol?
  20. A mindless brawl among a group of young fools. Goodwillie, it appears, was enacting revenge for Swanson being knocked out. In football we call that retaliation and often suggest it's worse than the catalyst. Trouble follows him wherever he goes. No wonder he pled guilty, although is jail time a serious possibility?
  21. I still can't decide whether or not to disable commenting or make it ID only. Or leave as it is.
  22. I decided to look away from the doom and gloom, and focus on a major positive - the fact that Neil Lennon is not our manager. Feedback and comments appreciated as always Ibrox Noise: Dignity V Ignominy
  23. Given Kennedy's been rejected, and I am not fond of the other 2, I am interested in this Singapore bid.
  24. I'm not aiming for a bite in any way here, and your information is appreciated, but surely the person you cannot name is Shazad Bakhsh?
