As far as I'm aware he was Ross Wilsons choice. When Wilson had decided not to come he had already impressed so much that it was a gamble to give him the gig, but no more so than Murty staying to the end of the season. It's a gamble no matter who is in charge at the moment. DoF is on the back burner too and the board have bought some time till the end of the season. Im not on the board so can't say that's 100% what's happening but looking around and reading/hearing between the lines, that's where I am with it.

I know we have been over this before however thought I was post again as it's bound to come up. It's certain to be a 50/50 split, no matter who we get. Does anyone know what the criteria will be? Will those(like myself) who are on the CCC plus been to all the Scottish cup games, be guaranteed a ticket? Surely they can't just ballot it? I only ask as iirc there are more on the CCC than there are tickets?

Great piece 26th. I was walking back along the PR yesterday thinking the same things while flicking from Snyde to Scotland. The PQ mob were oozing with resentment and bitterness. It's very unpleasant to listen too and an indication of their horribly toxic undercurrent. Iirc Rob McLean was also getting in on the action. After having switched to Snyde, Father Keevins was "incandescent" with rage at the officials clearly "bottling" it and DJ was performing his now "obligatory" impersonation of "Churchill" the dog. The bitterness that emanates from PQ as you point out 26th is gratuitously blatant. I am probably going to be controversial here and say that although at the time I thought it was a bad challenge, I can see why the ref gave a yellow. It was reckless but I wouldn't say dangerous, he caught him with his thigh. Hardly a career ending challenge.
