  2. There will be no time for that this year. Hopefully. If we make it to the third qualifying round of the Europa league the second leg will be just 2 days before the SPL opening day. Presumably our opening SPL match would be postponed till at least the Sunday.
  3. The shirts I bought last night from the online megastore link still have some sort of SD connection judging by the confirmation I got in email. It came from cs@sportsdirect.com But presumably the club will get the bulk of that money as King stated.
  4. So what if Linfield execute a red imps on them.
  5. It's me, again, 7p in the £ which is a figure he can get on board with apparently.
  6. Tell the fat man I will give him 7p in the pound for his shares.
  7. It may settle down to an average £5 million a year but what's the betting they're being swamped right now. Just ordered two shirts myself. Sell a million quids worth today. LOL
  8. I also just got another shirt. The red and white away shirt. Always liked that one anyway.
  9. Nice one. We're all like kids looking through catalogues pre Xmas.
  10. I look at the forums of other sides and among all the absolute drivel such as 'they're skint' 'be out of business by Xmas' and so on there is often one lone voice amid the howls who is either honest enough to see and admit the reality or stupid enough to admit it without realising. On a hubz forum where they're obsessing over this deal and somehow largely still proclaiming it's disastrous for us comes this little gem. I commend his honesty but don't think he should be taking it personally or imagining that this means they would have had any more chance in the league than they would ever have. Their chances of bettering us in this league would have ranged from slim to no chance even if this had never happened. But now it has it simply means there wont even be a slim chance. But he shouldn't be too dismayed because this isn't just bad news for hubz it's bad news for every last one of them. The unmentionables included. I hope the exciting transfer window and this exciting development are omens of a great season coming for us. Getting into that Europa league group stage is of major importance. I would take that over almost anything else aside of course a title win. And getting into that group stage could in fact be considerably more profitable than a title win if the win wasn't followed up by Champions league group stage qualification.
  11. And incidentally it doesn't even list medium as an option for the home shirt now.
  12. I'm doubting it's my location when it's simply saying out of stock. For now i'm just going to get a leisure wear shirt. Think I will go for this one which doesn't show as out of stock when I try to add it to the bag.
  13. Was medium I wanted I'm presuming it means they're selling out just in the first hours of this new development. And i'm guessing you bought all the XXXL
  14. I just tried to buy the home shirt at that site.
  15. I actually saw someone in a Rangers shirt here in Oklahoma a few weeks ago and of course couldn't resist going out of my way to go talk to him. Turned out he was an Irish guy on a storm chasing vacation. Three years in a row he has come here spending his vacation on the storm chasing tours.
  16. It regularly goes over 100 during an Oklahoma summer and the humidity is horrific. There is an old film set in the US south with Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger called in the heat of the night and I never quite got the meaning of that title till I lived here. In the summer it's common for the temperatures to remain in the 90's with terrific humidity all night long so nothing gets the chance to cool off before the sun comes up again. When I came here I had to learn not to open windows or even blinds nor leave a door open as I often would in Scotland. Used to like sleeping with a window open at night but that's not possible here.
  17. He also says this regarding the retail deal which is an indication of his commitment to the club since he took over.
  18. I don't doubt for a moment that they're going to be shifting a tanker load of merchandise before the opening day of the SPL. Apparently back in the days of the JJB deal we were getting millions a season from that deal. Enough all on it's own to put the sheep and hubz of this world far behind us. There's going to be an extraordinary rush to buy kit given the boycott that preceded this. There could be an unprecedented selling spree to come. Which if the media covers it will result in more gnashing of gums and pulling out of hair from the usual suspects. Wool in the case of the sheep as they further grasp how much in our shadow they're going to be.
  19. We agreed to let them have Cummings because he's a wee bachle we didn't want anyway.
  20. A quote from a post I made earlier. And so it begins, sheep forums are already declaring that this deal somehow means we're broke. An example of that. And that coming from ungulates mooching around league 1 frantically searching for freebies after acquiring one from relegated Caley Thistle. Man we're so broke and they're so attractive a proposition their captain dumped them to sign for us.
  21. My brother is a tax man who works in customs at the airport. I believe they make a tidy profit.
  22. Might be time for the King bashers re-evaluate their criticism and that includes the bashers at the likes of the record though I don't see that happening anytime soon. This man has delivered all he promised at the beginning of his tenure and because that didn't happen overnight is no valid reason to take swipes at him. This was always going to be a project that would take time after all that has gone before and I think he has delivered in an acceptable time span. He has delivered the Euro football he promised and the new manager is being handsomely backed in the transfer market. I also notice the 'war chest' scoffers have disappeared from view as they scurry around trying to create some new mindless drivel to obsess over.
  23. Portugal win 1-0 after surviving a late Russian assault. At least we're going to be getting a match fit Alves.
  24. Hopefully the tide is turning at last after all the heartache over these past years and maybe now everything is starting to fall into place. I think we got our new manager in place at an opportune time giving him the chance to have a couple of months watching the squad in action including games against the main opposition. We appear to be having a good transfer window with the incoming players being a significant increase in quality and now this new deal. Give me a good performance along with a real thrashing of Niederkorn next week making the away league a formality and I will really start to believe.
