Very sad news, I hope he makes a full recovery. But he was a total cnut as a player.

Is it surprising, the JJB's down here have taken zero new stock over the past few weeks. The 2 in Northampton are really empty, but the MK one seems to have spare stock. I am guessing that online orders will be OK? A clear breach of contractural obligations. That is ofcourse if Umbro have some "linkage" in the delay.

It shows the utter weakness of Football governing bodies. Lay the letter of the law. Referee's can get it wrong they are human... but if it is proven a player didn't do something then cards should be dropped. But if a player is seen to cheat then he should be punished. Football is being led by a old boys club and the sooner some fresh ideas - goal line technology, 4th official help for the ref. Huge punishments for players who cheat, argue, bully the officials. The game is at its weakest, money rules... and it will go to the dogs if some tough measures are not brought in...

1.2 million customers, 85% of home are not in Scotland. It makes no sense for anyone to bid for the Scottish rights. The likes of Dundee Utd, Hibs and Hertz have royaly fcuked this up with there uppity attitude back when Sky were giving a great deal, but the share of the money was not equally distributed.

I agree mate, but I would rather get a younger defender who can hopefully learn from Wier and take over the mantle in the back line.
