  1. Its a shame for his mob he didn't take responsibility when through on goal. :spl: Where did Mowbray say that Pete?
  2. Sorry Gav, doesn't really bother me. Just sits away off to the right in the corner and I don't notice it. It pops up each time I open a new page I think but I don't notice it anymore than anything else on the page loading. Is yours popping up all the time with the snowflakes? Like BD, I don't think the snow slows my laptop at all, however I can see it would be frustrating for others. Dunno where Frankie is hiding though. :fish:
  3. For those who don't find it useful; If you press the wee arrows on the far right of the pop up it minimises it and I now don't notice it.
  4. So in the "he only offered goals initially" there was no disagreement. You said you disagreed but then said the exact same as me. Why is ESPN evidence that I am ignoring. Yet the numerous British based sources that state he often played as a wide midfielder are not evidence?
  5. Sounds like a good day Cotter. Well in ya mad bastard.
  6. Re: the "goal". If it had happened against us, as it did with Broadfoot against them, I wouddl be fuming. It is soft and keepers are over protected. That said, I would expect the referee to give the foul against us, because keepers are over protected. It's almost an unwritten rule that ref's will give fouls on keepers for next to nothing. So why should we not "benefit" from the same standard of refereeing that every other club gets. Whilst I don't agree with the decision making process, in the context of consistency of decision making it was the right decision.
  7. Wabash's opinion that Lafferty's wages would be better spent on Boyd, when you consider what each is offering the team, seems like a fairly logical view point. Unless you are more worried about the success of KL than Rangers. Boyd has not really had "barren" spells. Check out the Boyd complete stats thread. That's just pure pish. You appear to say you disagree with my arguement that Boyd was offering something even when only scoring, yet I can't seem to figure out what your disagreement is? You seem to actually be agreeing. Burnley did play a lot on the left. ESPN merely listing him as a striker does not change that, unless i've missed some other point on that link. I'm suprised you're not Northern Irish as it is often fans from their who will staunchly defend Lafferty's performance when at present there is little to back up that point of view. We all would prefer he came good (especially at his cost), but there is little forus to get behing atm.
  8. Your comment "your lad Boyd" seemed a bit odd. Led to me asking those questions. Boyd has always demonstrated something at rangers, even if initially it was just goals. And that was whether or not he got a regular run. Left mid is not a position Lafferty has suddenly played at Rangers, he has played much of his young career there. Quite often it is Ulster based bears who seem most keen to give Ulster players much more leeway than their play deserves. It's a general trend across Rangers forums and yoru evasion of the question seems to back this up.
  9. You a Rangers fan or a Lafferty fan? Are you from Ulster as well?
  10. Unusually bias report. Fortune decision was definitely wrong and Lafferty should've seen red. Are broadcasters not normally more circumspect with their language rather than out-rate claiming a mistake by the referee. Contentious decisions maybe, just suprised by the certainty of the language.
  11. Interesting to see where some of the potential future stars end up as I remember the name Fetai more than Djeziri (perhaps because of his loan to ICT) yet I see his career has not really flourished the way it might have either.
  12. As far as I know, none of the rest of us can alter this for you guys. Seeing as it is giving a few of you problems I am sure it is something Frankie will look at when he's next on. Unfortunately there is not much that can be done until then. Frankie was on yesterday so hopefully will sort this out soon.
  13. Boyd on fire. Sebo still shit. Gribz nowhere to be seen. Coincidence?
  14. Only one Rangers employee has won a monthly award this season: Andy Webster. http://www.cbfootball.co.uk/monthly.aspx?MonthID=11 I know they don't mean much, but I can't see past Smith/Boyd this month. Unsure on YPOTM. Stokes maybe?
  15. Boyd was making a reasonable contribution before having to come off injured last time. Well he assisted one of Miller's strikes. However, with his natural goal-scoring prowess and his record against Celtic, he has to start scoring against them or the growing discontent will rumble on. I agree with you, but realistically many fans will not have the sense (is patience a better word actually?) to see it that way.
  16. Points in the bag are definitely better. I just wouldn't consider it 10 unless we'd played the same number of games. Don't wanna count my chickens...
  17. Premature Craig?
  18. It's just taken the rest of the fan base a little while to catch on.
  19. Craig I dunno if you are taking the piss here or what. I posted a thread saying Boyd is 3rd in the golden boot rankings with Defoe, Rooney and Suarez strong challengers. That's all I said. And it's fact. Then you said it was premature. What's premature? He is 3rd. I can't see what is premature? Unless you took my post to say he would win the golden boot, which I at no point did. You're ruining a perfectly reasonable and interesting thread.
  20. More fuel?
  21. It's always been worse than Jon. I can just argue my point better.
  22. No you missed my point. I said a way back after your first reply no one ever said he would win it. There's a question mark in the thread title after all. It was merely a thread pointing out he is in the running. (Right now he is arguably the leading contender).
  23. Only 7 if they lost their game in hand though.
  24. Maybe I didn't look at the standings properly but I didn't notice McGregor being in 3rd place with the two guys ahead of him having finished their season. Boyd is in with a realistic shout of winning it.
  25. Obviously the three points goes without saying. Always does. That wish supercedes (sp) any other. After that, yet again, mine is a Boydie goal (winner? ). What's yours?
