  1. How do you come to 21M Ian?
  2. The question was in reference to the Bobby Lennox quote. I'd be suprised if everyone on here was familiar with that one.
  3. Irony Mr Thompson? Has your club shown much respect to SPL fans?
  4. http://www.rangerspedia.org/index.php/Rangers_Quotes Anyone heard this one before? " when did you know your leg was broken? Answer..."when I saw John Grieg running towards me!" by Bobby Lennox.
  5. It's just the other two then?
  6. Reply 4 was what I thought about this thread.
  7. I'm not sure selling early as possible is best. Sure have the replacement lined up asap, but we have to play the game of chicken in terms of getting his value up. I'm not saying leave it to the last minute, but trying to strike at the right time to gget the best fee.
  8. Scrutinized over every Celtic "penalty". Any decisions that go against us will be ignored, they wont be as important as those which "cost" the tims victory.
  9. I thought he was like Freddy Adu and Peter Pan and never aged. He was 17 for about 3 years.
  10. Just what an OF game needs!
  11. That was how I remembered it too regarding his pace BD. Also Ian, Fleck will "eventually come good". Sounds a tad harsh for a guy who is 17.
  12. Don't think he should get POTY ahead of Boyd and McGregor if they all maintain their form from now. The American would only have played half a season. I know that has previously been enough for McGeady and Maloney to scoop the leagues POTY awards, but we have credibility at Rangers.
  13. Suprised to read Broadfoot played so little reserve football before returning, but with the way the injury lay off affected Thommo's form i'd be suprised if Edu came straight in. Might get a few minutes off the bench. I think the CM position would be too demanding to throw someone in severely lacking in match sharpness. With Davis and McCulloch's form we don't need to rush him.
  14. Was it a period at the start of last season when we only scored once in the first half hour or something. An early goal can settle the nerves and set the tempo, demoralising the opposition. Another one Sunday would be ideal.
  15. Doesn't learn about gobbing off does he?
  16. :ness: ????
  17. Norris I'm sure a ref did it when Ajax scored and his excuse was he was congratulating himself for a good bit of refereeing in playing advantage.
  18. No need to apologise for being wrong. The movement is far too dramatic (for want of the word i'm looking for) and the timing too coincidental for it to be adjusting his hat or listening to the radio imo.
  19. I thought, like Craig, that it was a "head in hands" reaction. But the youtube vid where the guy has repeatedly shown the copper's reaction bemoaning his celebration of a Rangers goal made me laugh. Hope it was a cleabration (though don't believe it was) just to get it up the tims.
  20. One of the biggest issues within Scottish support imo. We all claim we want to see a more exciting, attacking and flowing type of football as demonstrated by technically superior players. Yet we cannot fathom the importance of possession football. Sitting at Ibrox, if we're not putting the ball forward at every opportunity and aren't 3-0 in the first half the crowd become impatient and restless. Sometimes you have to go back to go forward and if the opposition don't have the ball they can't hurt you. Nothing wrong with playing back/sideways if the forward ball isn't on whilst we probe for a more fruitful opening. The problem is, whilst many fans claim they would like to watch a more continetal kind of game, they don't have the patience to let it unfold.
  21. Been shafted with the work shifts recently. Seem to work every time we play and with it being a small team no chance of getting it swapped. So i've missed Beasley's remarkable return to form (he's hardly looked a player since his PSV days). The midfield have learnt to play, the team is attacking at pace and crucifying the opposition. And i'm missing it all. Though as long as we keep it up i'm happy. Frankly the likes of Davis and Mendes (albeit the latter has been injured most of this year) have not justified the wages and reputation of EPL players. They should be pissing it against SPL opposition and it's about time they did. Most of all i'd be looking forward to the return of Edu.
  22. Encouraging to hear that Davis has caught form and appears to be working well with a more defensive minded player (McCulloch or Thomson beside him). Whilst the engine room is arguably the key area of the field for dominating and winning a game it was also our weakest area. If the central midfield can function as well as the back 5 have been and the forward pair then we're looking good for the next few games.
  23. I think that's 4 to break it with 2 games to come. 1 against Hibs 1 against DU 1 against Celtic to equal the record, 2 to break it.
  24. Was your mind "wangering" during writing this?
