  1. John was asking do they have bottle. Today they showed they did. How much? Well we have 3 games to find out!
  2. 4 wins = the double. Gentlemen, you know what is required.
  3. Realistically, with Celtic already a point ahead, they win tomorrow and the title is over. We'd be 4 behind with 3 games left. They'd have to drop point in 2 matches. If we win, we'd go 2 ahead. We would likely win the league. But it would be by no means over. 1 sli[ up by us would undo our OF victory. A draw would not be great either. Chances are that would be all the boost the tims need to win the remaining 3 ties. So as John says, it's all about bottle tomorrow. Only one result will do. Are the boys up for it? Will they deliver?
  4. The long version of my lazy post. Pretty much sums it up. Clement is obviously a good, cultured player. I just think Thomson is a similar player but has the edge in terms of the physicality of the SPL. Also think Edu might be the better bet long term. Re: The other Clement debate (christ seems like I have an issue with him now when I really dont, as I said, just shit stirring ), yeh you're explanation is probably right. A more mature person might have been willing to at least make a real go of it. That's not a criticism of him, just a frank acceptance of the mentality of such a young person in an "alien" environment.
  5. Thomson>Clement. That was the "swap" we actually made. And not overly convinced Clement is a better bet than Edu.
  6. He's not scored when Boogie has played!
  7. 3-1 Boyd 2, Boogie
  8. Shit stirring post. Though I think the Clement part is arguable the least harsh part. :box:
  9. PSG but not PLG as he's run away from another club.:fish: And I doubt we'll see Clement, with Le Guen for the off he wont have the character to hang around and prove himself without his father figure. :box:
  10. I was only stirring it up. Judge each case on its merits. Gough born aborad but brought up by Scottish parents as a Scot. Boyd never been to Scotland til the other night only wants to play because he's got no chance with England. Completely different imo.
  11. Aye, 6 Scots teams in europe seems pretty mad. And quite agree about cup losers.
  12. Ah right. See I didn't consider 3 a penalty incident. Unless we're now going to consider every obviously 100% fair tackle in the box a penalty incident. Not digging at you, just honestly couldn't think what incident this was til someone explained. The rest I understand the controversy, even if I don't agree most of them were even close to being given (the handballs being the best shouts).
  13. Aye, i'm not sure what pen incident 3 actually refers too. THe only reason for the outrage is the sheer number of claims. In isolation though I'm not sure any of them are valid. The handballs aside I guess.
  14. Good news. Hopefully assuming we get the extra spot, whoever enters Europe can at least add a few points to the co-efficient. Amazingly, I can;t remember us (Scotland) having gained a place in this manner.
  15. That's what 99.9% of Rangers fans would do. The question is What would Wattie do?
  16. I'm really happy its not Man U - Chelsea part two. Cracking strike, but not as good as Essiens.
  17. And the Arsenal defence wont get absolutely arse-raped by him anymore? :fish:
  18. Aye George Boyd didn't come to Scotland til about age 24.
  19. Fecking hope not. Smith guaranteed to play Dailly, who was our worst player the last 2 games.
  20. Wasn't being smart with that question, just wondered. Don't know many scots who like cricket. Don't know many people who like cricket if truth be told. I've seen Scotland done over a few times in rugby by the referee or even the t.v. ref!!! A couple of try incidents with France spring to mind.
  21. http://www.snspix.com/pics_15675/07-05-09-rangers-training.html?PHPSESSID=1f76930d4bc4f80aaa6ca49715f33769 Goughie and Alan Gow in the pics too.
  22. If he was to play and contribute to a Rangers victory i'd take it. :box:
  23. A lot of people seem to state Loovens is better than McManus. Not seen enough of the former to compare. But McManus is overrated. Though the ref's usually let him away with his dirty challenges, so could help him being out.
  24. Suprised the BBC printed his Guiness quote. THe plastics over at Torbett Towers will be going mental.
  25. Tbh I'm not sure about where the cut-off for when generation to the next is. You probably qualify for mine. Too good an excuse to slag you two though! :box:
