  1. Forget about him Doctor.... Senderos certainly isn't the blue-chip signing they're suggesting...
  2. In a nut shell - welcome to the forums mate!
  3. Hi Brian - long time no see on here.... Yeah, again, I doubt the black background will be necessary; more probably just the red lettering on the blue strip anyway.
  4. I doubt it will be the T.... More like this logo (without the 2010 obviously)
  5. I think we all know Broadfoot's limitations as a player but over the piece he's been a useful signing and I wouldn't be averse to giving him a new contract - depending on what he's asking for.
  6. I'm with MF on this one... But I guess we may not have our say until the deal is done. Hopefully the deal will mean it is an increased say as well...
  7. Mate, I find the Umbro/JJB deal rather confusing. Like you say, JJB are responsible for distribution in the UK while Umbro responsible for the rest of the world. As such, there may well be conflicts for a global brand such as Adidas or Nike if they wanted to sponsor us once again. The Umbro deal actually ran out last summer and there was no fanfare at all about it's renewal. That suggests to me it may be tied directly into the rest of the JJB deal and any new supplier would have to buy there way out of that. Can't say for sure though...
  8. As definite as I can be. I wouldn't have posted it on Newsnow if I wasn't confident...
  9. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/2010/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=194:tennents-new-shirt-sponsor-of-rangers&catid=1:articles&Itemid=67 As most bears will be aware, the Carling shirt-sponsorship deal ends this summer and Coors (despite official comment to the contrary) have no plans to renew the deal with both sides of the Old Firm. This means several high profile companies have been in discussions with club representatives in recent months with a view to taking over the lucrative contract. To that end, we can confirm Tennent's have agreed a deal with both Rangers and Celtic to become the new shirt sponsor as of next season. Their existing deal with the Scottish Football Association ends after the World Cup and with no Scotland participation there-in, the company have decided they can increase brand exposure via working with club teams who can offer global awareness via the Champions' League. While the finances of the deal have not yet been confirmed, Rangers will be hoping to match the terms of the 2005 Carling monies and with the Umbro shirt manufacturer sponsorship also due to run out again this summer (but more complicated in terms of its association with JJB), this is one commercial positive for the financial battles ahead. This new deal is for two years with a 12 month option included.
  10. Rangers go six points clear (sic) with hard-fought victory over tough Accies outfit at windy New Douglas Park. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/2010/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=192:hamilton-0-1-rangers-player-ratings-and-mom-poll&catid=35:analysis&Itemid=67 :sp: for me. Dreadful first half but improved after the break -making the difference by being the extra man in attack.

    Very good!
  12. I meant with regard to the takeover debate.
  13. Now on main site: http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/2010/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=191:time-to-stand-up-and-be-counted&catid=1:articles&Itemid=67 Anyone fancy writing a fine article like this, please get in touch!
  14. Just a throwaway comment regarding how he seems to have disappeared from the debate of late... No idea why that would be - perhaps he's on holiday?
  15. As long as you back my Nuno Capucho.... Jiggy Jiggy! :fish:
  16. Angola will need a draw at least...
  17. Yeah, pointless 'honour' performed mainly as a money-making exercise unfortunately...
  18. Pars can have no complaints IMO... 3 different offences means they were extracting the urine.
  19. Most posters are 'indulged' because they tend to give reasons for their opinions which the reader can take into consideration when making up their mind on discussed issues. You don't offer the same quality of debate and when challenged for your, often flawed, opinions you deflect and deny. Behaviour not seen often on Rangers forums - far less Gersnet. Hence the reason posters get understandably frustrated with your style. Now, I think I've been more than patient with you here (compared to admin elsewhere) so please consider this as a polite warning to stay on topic and debate properly.
  20. No idea who it is...
  21. I'd imagine that will happen depending on the consortium(s) involved....
  22. The media coverage is just games from those interested to apply pressure to the bank/MIH via supporter frustration... Like you, I'm sure those wanting to buy know exactly what Lloyds/MIH want so are using the media to try and reduce that price.
  23. I'll defer to more knowledgeable people than me...
  24. Let's put it this way, if Mr Cannonball keeps on with his refusal to take part in the spirit of the board properly he may find his membership going the way of others he had on other forums - cockny (sic) rebel or not.
