Gersnet believes there will be at least one new player arriving over the weekend but don't be surprised if you see two new names! First in is 22 year old Swedish forward Emir Kujović who plays for Halmstads BK and the Swedish under 21 side. Emir's older brother Ajsel also plays for Halmstads but his contract won't be renewed. As soon as we hear about the second player, we'll update the site if and when a second transfer happens. UPDATE: This story was reposted on Newsnow for reasons beyond our control today (01/02/10) and none of the information we posted on Friday has changed. Since then Sky Sports, stv and BBC Scotland have reported on the story but it appears our earlier confidence about the young Swede arriving may have been misplaced. All eyes on SSN tonight then until the window closes at midnight!

    Welcome to the forums Max! Form and injury proneness of Thomson/Edu suggest moving Mendes on is somewhat risky but it is a decent deal and perhaps we'll bring in a player now.

    Yeah, unfortunately it seems the lad won't make it at Rangers but Dundee seem keen on him and with them likely to win the First Division, Shinnie could have regular SPL football next season if he signs permanently.

    Yep, that sounds accurate enough to me Craig. Miller is on fire himself (or has been anyway) so the lad will be desperate to play as well - fully fit or not! Can't wait until Boyd comes back as well!

    Yeah, I'd like to thank our writers for their continued good work as well actually. It isn't easy to find the time to write originally about issues at the club and I know myself it is difficult to think of something that grabs my own attention never mind the people I want to read it. For those reasons, we'll never be churning out a huge amount of article content. However, as always, quality beats quantity and I'd much rather read interesting articles like those we regularly on here by a range of authors, than some of the tat in the 'official' media. Same goes for the forum in a general sense - much better to have concise threads with various good contributions than hundreds of posts masking the real debate. PS: If anyone fancies writing anything, give me a shout by pm and we can arrange access to our private writers room where you can share ideas, obtain feedback and watch Schoolmistress Bluedell give Latin lessons... :box: I know there are plenty of members on here who can write well so get involved further if and when you can. No pressure for it to be a regular thing!

    Only the player can say he's fit or not... I'm sure he'll be OK for Saturday and even if he's not we should have enough to score goals against Falkirk.
