PS: This story is Number 1 on Newsnow by a country mile...

The answer is, as always, in the Gersnet Archive... http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=552&Itemid=31 2003/04 to 2004/05

Just to confirm, Umbro are definitely making the strip again next season. Just had it confirmed to me from Rangers press office.
-
Aye, I got mine on Saturday after renewing online (well I had to do it by phone but that is a long story typical of our ticket office).
-
As long as it is done for tomorrow, that is cool mate.
-
That is certainly not beyond the realms of possibility. I also hear a chap by the name of Goodwin is without a job and is struggling for a game of golf at the moment. Maybe he'd be interested... :fish:

Come one the Arabs!

What MIH employee is set to be fast-tracked over the Ibrox then?
-
Aye, rather nervous now... Still not overly confident of winning the title so that is helping me somewhat as my expectations are low.
-
Yeah, I can only assume the two are connected - since Umbro are responsible for the distribution rights outwith the UK. Either that or the deal is very poor compared to Celtic's.
-
All the recent evidence points to a renewal of our contract with Umbro. The Assembly website mentions it and other stockists (such as Littlewoods) appear to confirm it with the strip available to pre-order. Two things... 1. Why haven't the club announced any new deal (or any renewal)? Note, the club announced the initial deal with Umbro in early March 2005 so it is strange they are so tardy this time? We've also used the Scottish Cup final in years past to promote any new strip - that appears unlikely now as well? 2. If it is Umbro; what template will we go with? Will we be based on the new Sweden strip (mock-up below) or will we follow England and go for a retro styling?

Cheers Gazza... will update it.

They talk about being an inclusive club one minute then release new 'international' strips with free republican t-shirts the next... Sectarianism and racism is alive and well at Celtic Park. http://www.kitbag.com/stores/celtic/products/kit_selector.aspx?selector=%2054&portal=K8SMR41J

Thanks for dealing with this in my absence S_A. Have updated the first page. I'll take the DU game next week which leaves the Scottish Cup final available...
-
Also, may be worth giving it another week so I can mention the awards in the return of Friday's email newsletter...
-
I'll do mine tomorrow Jon... Thanks for dealing with this..!

SFA study video footage of Glenn Loovens' challenge
Frankie replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I've checked the SFA Handbook this morning and it says bans from special meetings start 7 days after the date of the meeting. I guess the rules may have changed since the publication of the rules... -

I think he will receive 9 penalty points and a 3 match ban. However, it is probable any ban won't be applied until next week at the earliest so he'll only miss the last game of this season and the two first games of next term. -

Referee missed it so this is a chance for retrospective action. Open and shut case of violent play so Loovens should be awarded a red card and banned for 3 matches. -
What Norris said... We must win this title. And, even if we do, we must NOT use the win to paper over the cracks any longer. Wouldn't it be great to rebuild the club from a position of relative success via regaining the SPL and guaranteed European football.
-
Both tackles are disgraceful. Loovens must be up before a video panel.
-
I think Broadfoot is a useful player to have in the squad. But I guess if we need to cut numbers, then he may one of the ones to leave. He'll go with my thanks.

I'm sure we'll get full reports asap.
