How many portions did Suck have?

I think we have to give Boyd a decent chance in the category A games before we compare him to players such as McCoist and Larsson who have played in more than their fair share. He does have to do more in games but in terms of goalscoring he's worth his weight in gold no matter what games he actually scores the goals in. Since he arrived, chances in the bigger games have been few and far between for him and as he gains experience at that level it won't be long before Celtic and the top Euro teams fear him like every other SPL side.

Political Freedom? Not At Ibrox If You Are A Bear..
Frankie replied to CammyF's topic in Rangers Chat
Yep, at the league cup game at CP last season Rangers fans were 90% more likely to be arrested than Celtic fans. Obviously, that wasn't just down to Celtic's security officer but Strathclyde Police and probably McIntyre to an extent. Add that sad fact to the various other negative issues surrounding LM, then it's just one other area of the club where we have someone not doing their job properly and in the best interests of the support AND the club. -

Rangers fans behaving themselves is all well and good but to help ensure that, surely visiting fans (particularly Aberdeen and Celtic) should also be given the same treatment instead of being allowed to sing about our disasters and dead kin? -

yeah, Cammy makes a good point. OK, political banners may not be to everyone's tastes, but you can't have one rule for some and one rule for others. But we all know how two-faced and imcompetent Lawrence McIntyre is. -

To be perfectly honest, the whole concept of this campaign doesn't really make me feel proud Cammy. Although what happened at Celtic was a disgrace and Jock Stein's part in the cover-up shameful, I don't think child abuse is something that should really be used as some sort of oneupmanship tool. The case was covered in the media at the time IIRC and although it's obviously swept under the carpet and largely forgotten about now, I'm not sure what value flags and banners above bridges helps Rangers.

Unfortunately, I won't be there on Thursday mate...
-
Yep, I still have the original banner and if anyone wants to take it to a game, give me a shout and I'll organise transfer.
-
Yep, there are always a daft few who let the rest of our superb support down. 'Red hand' salute or not, it's far to easy to misinterpret and should be discouraged. Fortunately, this salute is disappearing and the quicker the better as far as I'm concerned.

OK, already added stats from 1980 to the present day.... Should be finished by the end of the week with a bit of luck. http://www.gersnetonline.net/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=75&Itemid=31

Barry Ferguson won the first poll.

Utter nonsense. UEFA cannot demand Rangers do anything with their stadium. For one thing it is already a 5* stadium and for another who'd pay for the alternations and 10,000 seats - we certainly can't afford it.
-
Did OK and caused us a few problems when he dropped deep and wide for the ball. Gow is a decent signing IMO for free and will provide the creative spark we desperately need in the final third.

Aye mate... same one.

Yours truly. But anyone can have a go if they want.

Don't know about Chelsea or the Lions teams... I 'borrowed' it from a firm of accountants...

Now on main site... http://www.gersnetonline.net/newsite/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1

Vladimir Lisin. Haven't heard anything about this.
-
Did very well actually. When Papac first came I thought he looked a decent player. However, there's no doubt he struggled physically despite being a big lad. Perhaps Weir will help him improve that side of his game enough for him to stay at the club.
-
Aye, great job mate... An ideal time to show it with the site back running! Many thanks!
-
Doesn't bother me either way to be honest. As long as it brings in a bit of colour and excitement pre-match I'm quite happy. Incorporating the flags of our country is good enough for me no matter which one I feel more faux allegience to.
-
Our club has no identity mate.
-
If it is a Union flag I'll be quite frankly astonished. If it half a Union flag and half a Saltire then maybe I'd be less surprised...

I'm sure most of you guys know about "A Horse With No Name's" fantastic Excel stats file available to download on the fine RM site. http://www.rangersmedia.com/stats.html Unfortunately, the legendary poster above is unable to continue updating the file and because of the obvious problems in uploading and downloading the 30Mb file after every update a solution had to be found to keep the file going. I'm delighted to say that Gersnet will be making a large contribution to that. Not only will be looking to improve the file in the next wee while, I'll be porting the vast majority of it over to our Joomla main site. The initial data transfer will obviously be time-consuming but it will be worth some hard work to get this stats archive online. After the initial work, it will then be pretty easy to update the stats in real time without the need for large and slow downloads. I'm pleased to say that gisabeer will be helping me out with this project. He has experience of similar tasks and the time necessary to help me keep everything updated on a daily basis. Bear with me as we get the stats ported over but getting the use of this file means the Rangers Archive project will march on very quickly over the next week or 2. Once it's online every Gersnet user and every Rangers fan will hopefully get some great use out of the resource which is sadly missing from the official club website.
