  1. Total Joke. How Lazlo of Hearts isn't nominated is beyond me
  2. 3 homes is a massive point in our favour. Relieved not to be going to Tynecastle or Pittodrie again. Why are we never at home on the last day? We always seem to be away
  3. Would hardly regard him as a "left midfield flying machine". He's done ok out there. He's not offered a huge amount going forward but he's got minutes on the pitch now and he may well revert to LB with Papac beng injured
  4. Sol Bamba is a clogger of a footballer. Nothing more than an average cb playing in midfield
  5. Would be far better option on the right than the over-rated Davis. He'd provide something we're missing from midfield at the moment - a goal threat
  6. No way, Tennents is piss water! I was in 2 minds whether to cancel mine for next year, but like Cammy I just couldn't face missing out on the games come Saturdays
  7. I'm a big fan of Aguiar. He's played very well against us twice this season. If ferguson goes, we could do worse than him
  8. HIVs 1 Rangers 2 Velicka, Boyd
  9. I read the same as you. He should be playing again by September
  10. Thought it was a soft one. From where I sit, Mendes went down very easily. From the angle the referee saw it, it looked like a stonewaller
  11. Bouncy Bouncy Bouncy Bouncy Na Na Na Na Na [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLA4tDwcoOk]YouTube - Brother Walfrid is a bear![/ame]
  12. I'll try and do Wednesday's game tonight

    name this team

I recognise John Brown Ian Ferguson Gordan Petric Stephen Wright Brian Laudrup Gazza Gordon Durie Richard Gough Ally McCoist Alan McLaren Stuart McCall Alec Cleland David Robertson Trevor Steven Ian Durrant Smith and Knox
  14. It has to be Bougherra. He's head and shoulders above everyone. I'm surprised Papac isn't nominated. He's been pretty consistent this year and is unchallenged for the left back position
  15. What a signing that would have been
  16. Was he a lazy bastard as welll?
  17. RANGERS have announced the nominees for their Player-of-the-Year awards. Pedro Mendes will be favourite to take the award having impressed since his arrival from Portsmouth last summer. Also in the frame are Kris Boyd, Steve Davis, Madjid Bougherra, Allan McGregor and David Weir. Among those up for the Young Player of the Year are John Fleck after his meteoric rise this season in Walter Smith's first-team as well as Kyle Lafferty, who still qualifies in the young category and Spanish midfielder Aaron. Bougherra and Fleck for me

    famine song

he's sitting at home he's sitting at hooooooome Bobo Balde he's sitting at home
  19. Can't argue with that. Gascoigne and Laudrup both soured theire reputations by the way their Rangers careers ended. De Boer and Prso missed a lot of matches. Albertz was a hero, but not a great for me. My only other candidate would be McCoist. A gent on and off the park and the greatest goalscorer of his generation
  20. Can't see it, he bloody hates Rangers!
  21. When your not sure if you'll have a job by the start of the season, thats why you are uncertain if you'll renew
  22. Disagree Totally. Thought Whittaker was ok, there were far worse (Mendes for one) Boyd's committment and general ability were lacking again. If being sent home from training and dropped for the previous 2 matches haven't kicked him up the arse, nothing will.
  23. Renewing but reluctantly so. Hard to justify it in the current financial climate but I know come that 1st Saturday of the season, there is only 1 place I'd want to be
  24. I thought you were overly generous on Mendes, Beasley and Boyd. Giving them 3/10 would have been unreasonable
