  1. Ramsey off, Kent off, Jack on, Sakala on. Do it at half time.
  2. Sorry but that doesn’t wash, we have players passing backwards when they have 20 yards of uncontested space in front of them.
  3. We’ve clearly been working hard on our square passing routines. Bassey in particular seems to have mastered the Barisic turn-and-pass-backwards
  4. Given the 2 from 3 midfield platform of Jack, Sands & Lundstram has been maintained, this is a good looking starting selection.
  5. In intriguing dilemma for ScotNats everywhere - back an English team or back Rangers. Or per BBC Scotland, pretend it isn't happening.
  6. Try as I might, there's no way any game involving West Ham could be described as a glamour tie. I wish them luck as a British club but glamour? Hardly. In any case I'm a lot less interested in glamour ties than I am in Rangers reaching the semi finals.
  7. Having voted for McGregor, I thought Lundstram was outstanding last night. The work that him and Jack got through was amazing, confirming why they form the best midfield partnership we've had in ages. No wonder they were both spent by the end, you can ask no more.
  8. Dundee 0 Rangers 3 FGS - Goldson
  9. The goalkeeper, who alone gave us a chance of being in the draw today.
  10. I’m sure there was a time when I enjoyed football. Now it seems to be 90 minutes of terror, hoping to feck it works out OK.
  11. What disappoints me is his tendency to wait for the ball to arrive rather than go to the ball. Too often he looks semi-frozen
  12. Kamara asleep at the goal. Bassey posted missing at the Greg’s save. Bollocks defending
  13. Walk away now and retain a morsel of credibility.
  14. That's a good team but I'd play Sands instead of Aribo.
  15. Red Star 3 Rangers 1 FGS - Goldson
  16. The songs are not all bad....... 🎼 Fück the SNP, fück the SNP, fück the SNP 🎵🎶
  17. That's the first good reason I've heard to sing these songs even louder.
  18. We aren't so lucky with our directors. I'm still trying to understand how director of Rangers could have been so divorced from the support as to arrange this in the first place. I do believe they think they can ignore us with impunity. James Bisgrove then expressing surprise at supporter reaction placed him firmly in the "won't miss you when you go" category.
  19. The last couple of weeks in the EPL have shown how badly VAR can get things wrong. Add to that the inherent bias and dishonesty of football in Scotland and you have just another means of arriving at decisions that favour Celtic and disadvantage Rangers.
  20. Hard to quibble with James Sands who joins Ryan Jack and John Lundstram as the key reliable people in the engine room who allow others to perform.
  21. I don't like to be overly negative about emerging talent but it wouldn't be Amad Dallio who frequently looks like someone seeing a football for the first time. Lowry looks a far more accomplished footballer.
  22. The more I see of James Sands the more I think we're seeing someone who could be a linchpin of our midfield for years to come. Probably the most important signing the last transfer window
  23. Ridiculous to raise POTY at this stage of the season. Delete this topic now.
  24. Dundee 0 Rangers 3 FGS Sakala
  25. I felt only 3 players didn't qualify for contention this time. A case could be made for all the rest. Tavernier was outstanding, the Jack & Lundstram partnership continues to excel, Goldson and Balogun both played well and adapted to the changing defensive formations, McGregor confounded his critics with fantastic saves, while Kent and Morelos terrorised their defence. Having re-watched much of the game, I've gone for Ryan Jack, who always seemed to be where he was needed and despite their penalty award. There's also a need to mention young James Sands, who came on in an arena of noise and passion but looked as composed and capable as anyone. This fellow is clearly a star in the making. It's been obvious for a while that Aribo and Kamara both look in dire need of a rest to recharge their batteries. These are good players who made little impact on the game and continuing to play them week after week is doing no favours to them or the team
