  1. That’s a long long way over the top.
  2. Don't be surprised if the deal is back on next week

    New Away Kit

Very smart. So far Castore seem to have the edge on other recent designs
  4. That’s my worry - as is a manager who doesn’t believe he has a leadership problem.
  5. Hopeful but definitely not optimistic. The changes required to take us from failure to success simply haven’t taken place yet and without them optimism would be pointless.
  6. I'm less concerned with their footballing skills, which I assume they have or we wouldn't be discussing them, and more interested in whether or not they have any balls. Because that's what will count when referees turn a blind eye to the hammer throwers on a cold wet December afternoon.
  7. Yes but the transfer window will still be open for a long time yet and given the state of the world right now it's hardly surprising that we would want to keep at least some of our powder dry.
  8. Perhaps we do if we're in the process of selling one or more players from that department. I'm sure there are many thing's we don't see.
  9. So we'll never know. Even if the tribunal panel stood up and said "since the three of us are all Celtic fans, you two clubs can just fuck off", we'll never know.
  10. From a purely Rangers point of view, at least the season will now be able to start next weekend but the entire affair has to be seen as a triumph for the SPFL. They've ridden roughshod over any last vestige of fair play that still lurked in Scottish football, served the interests of Celtic as they are obliged to do and served a harsh lesson to any other clubs who might think about challenging their right to ensure continued success for the One Club. I imagine Neil Doncaster will hand over the reins to his chosen successor over the next few months and the impression will be cultivated of a fresh start for all, while ensuring nothing changes at all. I don't think Scottish society has ever been better represented by its football bodies. Shit will always be appropriate in a shithole.
  11. Could be wrong but I think this would only have gone back to court if the arbitration panel couldn't come to a decision.
  12. The biggest problem with arbitration as a means of settling disputes is the basis for the decision will never be disclosed.
  13. That's how I understood it too but I'm not sure they can do it simply because they didn't like he decision..
  14. Honestly, I feel like a football dunce. Every day I read about people linked with Rangers who I've never heard of, then I learn they play for some obscure club in French Guyana, Botswana, Bolivia, Moldova, etc ..... but everyone else already knows all about them - what position they play, who they scored against with their left foot, etc. How do people find the time or inclination to be such experts on world football ...... and why aren't they starring on Mastermind?
  15. No, Only someone who works with them every day could know that. All I’m pretty sure of is it isn’t the current captain
  16. We’re still short on quality but for me a far more worrying aspect has been mental weakness under pressure. Every single season since administration has finished weakly. Whatever the abilities within the various squads, we’ve either limped over the line or chucked it completely. Until that’s addressed I don’t think much else matters. We don’t smell like winners to me. We need more effective leadership on and off the park and we desperately need more character throughout the team. Jock Wallace knew what he was talking about.
  17. The same players? No chance. Many changes will be required, I’d start by appointing a new captain.
  18. Same old issues

    David Hagen

    Very sad news.
  20. Yes, it would be a brave manager who relied on Defoe being available for a whole season.
  21. Wouldn't surprise me if we sell Goldson either.
  22. I've got a little over 3000 but that could easily be boosted by harvesting Rangers supporters, which I've never really done. However, I'm sure there are more than a few people with far more followers than me. However, if no one else wants to take it on then I'll be glad to - but only if @26th of foot is happy with that. I would in any case give him credit in anything I passed on. Parler too - why not. I think we could easily get this to at least 5000 people every time, more with retweets of course. I'll take my lead from @26th of foot but whatever we do it needs to be regular and it's going to attract the usual thugs and thieves. It might even bring a few new members to Gersnet.
  23. I think that would be an excellent step forward
