I think it’s pretty clear the whole “Compliance” system has no discernible basis for compliance at all. Instead, almost everything I’ve seen suggests it’s a licence for subjectivity and unaccountability, issuing arbitrary judgements with only a cursory connection to the laws of football. What the SFA has done is provide a platform for suspicion and cheating.

Compensation isn't justice for these crimes. Jail is justice.

Another week of pointless bollocks from the SFA's re-refereeing department.

The lawyers will be pursuing compensation for their clients on a civil basis, not for an admission of criminal wrongdoing. The difference is important and I imagine this will be engineered to ensure Celtic offers compensation without any admission of guilt. What I want to see is the employees/directors of the club that perpetrated, sanctioned and/or covered up these crimes brought before criminal courts and punished appropriately.

I think we need to divest ourselves of any expectation that the SFA or Holyrood will lift a finger to point it at Celtic. I'm fully confident this issue will be ignored until everyone grows tired of it or desensitised to the stench. That has been Celtic's policy for many years and has had the tacit approval of the SNP and Labour before them. It's a policy that has served them well and in all likelihood will continue to do so. Don't waste your time looking for justice or moral leadership in this shithole, there's precious little to be found. And if all else fails, you can bank on the courts providing a final line of protection for Celtic.

I agree that we swapped one set of rats for another and both look like cheeks of the same fetid arse. However, if you’re seriously looking for a change of face from this SNP administration post cup final I think you’re being very unrealistic.

Anyone questioning the Club's actions needs to reflect long and hard on their values and priorities. If anything, Rangers has been too slow to come to the boil and call out this overt cheating by the football authorities. That they are finally doing so should be applauded by every Rangers supporter. In the cesspit of Scottish football there is no salvation in silence.

There will be NO public enquiry so long as the SNP holds sway at Holyrood. Hell will freeze over before the SNP risks a single vote in their most important constituency. Like their football club, cover up, denial and deflection is everything. To that extent, it's not a huge leap to see the SNP as being part of the problem rather than the solution a responsible government should be. The rats run together in Scotland.
