Strict liability is a complete joke. It serves neither justice nor prevention. If the courts would do THEIR job there might actually be some deterrence

Grealish did extremely well not to react at all.

Poor Dundee Utd. Beaten by yet another last minute goal. Such a shame. ??????

Petition To Get James Dornan Removed From Anti Sectarian Group
Bill replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
There are a few in these parts who could learn a lot from the consistency and clarity of purpose that’s long been a hallmark of Vanguardbears, instead of spouting bollocks about VB “attacking Rangers fans”. I suppose there are always a few emotional souls who travel more slowly towards the truth though. -

No but perhaps I missed your point. Don't you think you're being a bit too precious about this. I wasn't offended at all and I doubt if the support is "divided" by his remarks. If you're really so thin-skinned about someone's comment about a website to the extent you let it get in the way of a serious issue like Dornan, maybe you need to get out more. -
Palestine ambassador given VIP tour of Celtic Park

Venezuela, Palestine. Predictable magnets for heart-rending socialist sentimentality. There seems to be no atrocity that can’t be ignored in their rush to defend these shitholes. Even those altruistic heroes of the Green Brigade have to be flattered. Yuk. -

I thought it was a decent comeback and it’s a shame to miss the point of this by being over-sensitive. Good luck to him and any efforts he’s willing to make to expose the republican rhat Dornan. -

Sympathising with Palestine has long been di rigueur for any aspiring anti-western socialist. If you don't tick that particular box and flaunt it for all to see then you're simply not staunch in socialist eyes. It's a badge of belonging rather than any notion of honest support. In that respect, the western socialist is stuck in a deep rut and wholly out of step with his once-precious Arab brothers, all of whom long ago abandoned the Palestinians as little more than inconvenient parasites. To maintain a modicum of credibility in each other's eyes, western socialists now have to declare how they despise many Arab countries - Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, Jordan - all of whom have betrayed the Palestine oppression-narrative that's been so carefully cultivated and fostered over decades. When you see the socialist pouring out his sentimentality for the Palestine cause, you can more or less be certain he doesn't give a monkey's about Gaza or the Left Bank but is abundantly keen on polishing his credentials for the comrades to admire. -

This is the equivalent of the IRA leadership visiting Parkhead to thank the Bheast FC for its wholehearted support over the last 50 years -

I can think of few people the world would miss less than the Palestinians. -
Four years of solid boycotts against their own club, refusing to attend matches until the owner left. Imagine how it will feel to be a Blackpool supporter going back for the first time again. Good on them, shows what a united support can achieve .... in the end.

Well done Rangers.

When you think what the SFA/SPL did to Rangers before Manchester, it makes you sick.
-
It's still there

I suspect you're right and that the state of Pittodrie has been a significant factor in persuading the council to approve the near new stadium in the face of strong opposition.
-
There has been.

If he does sign for Rangers, whatever role he's given, big or small, I don't think we'll need to worry about commitment. Like it or not, you need people like Shinnie in this league of hammer throwers.

Bandits in Holyrood, cretins at the SFA, morons at the SPFL .... snouts in every trough and all set against a backcloth of bigotry and sectarianism. Is there anything they can't get wrong? Welcome to Scotland, home of every kind of shambolic under-achievement you can possibly think of. Except Andy Murray ?

Was your mother frightened by an ego? Everyone has an ego, but some have achieved more to support it. You clearly hate that. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

Amusing to see Irvine Welsh presented by the Sun as an authority with insight. My cat probably has as valid opinions as Irvine Welsh ... or would have if I actually had a cat.

Brendan Rodgers ready to 'launch bid' for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos
Bill replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Player will always come and go. None of our better players will stay more than 2 or 3 years. So the issue isn't whether they will go or who they'll sign for. It's entirely about how much money the club can get and what they do with it. -
He lives across the road from me - should I just ask him? ? Edit - I'd have Shinnie over Coulibaly any day.

Maybe the UB’s can’t have everything, despite their best efforts to promote themselves as “special” fans.
