There will be no big clearcut of players. Incremental additions/replacements only. -

I’ve seen some shite referees but this one is setting new standards of stupidity. -

Nothing spoils your day more than a pedant who thinks the tree is more important than the wood. It’s just so damned dull. -

Isn't success a beautiful thing! Well done young men. -
It's unrealistic to demand a compliance officer with complete neutrality. That's never going to happen and all you end up doing is squabbling over which side should have their man/woman in place. The point is that they should be selected by and operate within a transparent system that exposes bias where it exists and has universal and public scrutiny. Only then will you see a clear, unambiguous and accountable basis for decision making. It should not be up to the compliance officer who gets investigated or punished. The compliance officer should be there only to apply such rules and standards as the clubs decide in advance should be applied. The current situation of Dickensian patronage and the discretionary application of a half-baked system is simply unacceptable. That it exists tells you everything you need to know about Scottish society in general and football in particular.

What a place to play a tournament - Doha is beautiful at this time of year. Hopefully the boys are enjoying the experience and bring home another trophy. -

It wouldn't surprise me if, having orchestrated suspensions, etc, the SFA doesn't now reintroduce Willie Collum just to make sure we're fucked. -
The CO is a role that should belong to the clubs, not the SPFL or SFA. Appointments should be by public recommendation by the clubs and decided by the public vote of those club. Nominations should include a public statement by both the nominating club and the candidate, expressing what they bring to the role and why they are suitable. Reasonable objections should also be available for public scrutiny. The current system of clandestine appointments is almost bound to result in exploitation and mistrust. That the SFA couldn't see this coming and avoid it reveals how inept and corrupt that organisation is.

We'll see ?

I'm glad you're impressed by that mighty effort. Personally, I doubt the SFA will read beyond the first paragraph - that's how effective I think this strategy will prove.

I wonder what support Aberdeen fans will give to Lewis Ferguson when he signs for Rangers?

Frankly, Club1872 shows little sign of being bothered. All those shares ... did anyone stop to ask why, what it's for?

Scottish Cup 1/4 Final draw: Aberdeen v Rangers/Kilmarnock

Let's hope he hasn't. -
We're one step away from the "Gerrard is losing it" narrative being promoted by every media outlet in Scotland.
-
It's clear to me the BBC is a vital, active and integral part of the campaign against Rangers. Nothing the BBC does to undermine Rangers and comply with that campaign would surprise me.
-
An important question and I suspect the answer is “no”. However, it’s also unlikely anyone would be chosen for the CO role if there was a cat’s chance in Hell of them being directly linked to Celtic. As they say “ the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.”

Any time I hear Warburton's name I think about that embarrassment in the SC final. That will always sum him up for me.

I think on the whole the team did OK tonight, considering the Sunday Welfare League pitch they had to play on. Kilmarnock seem to have gone backwards since December and should be easy meat back at Ibrox. -

That bloody surface ruins football. How Killie fans put up with that shite is a mystery. -
