  1. I've no idea what the current strategy is on amortisation but, given the demonstrable return of stability, would it not be possible to relax at least a little the amortisation schedule - or are there established rules governing this?
  2. I was hoping we would let him dig a bit deeper before telling him ?
  3. He’s trying to prove he doesn’t put it the SNP before Rangers. A bit late for that though.
  4. I'd like to see us starting to realise some of those assets in the coming summer window. This needs to be the last season we show a loss. I see very few players we couldn't replace if sold for sufficient money.
  5. I think all tactics that apply pressure back in the other direction are good tactics and all should be supported by genuine Rangers fans. For my part, I wish VB was also organising a protest outside Holyrood so that we could voice our objection to a parliament that has long refused to represent us.
  6. I still don’t really agree. I think we should ditch these songs, not because they are genuinely offensive but because they are binding us to a past that should have been relinquished long ago and limiting our collective progress into a new future. Any impact it would have on the activities of our detractors is as superfluous as it’s doubtful.
  7. I’m all for the strategy. My issue is really with the expectations. We could and should ditch these songs ... just don’t espect any gain from it.
  8. You're right ... but I think also wrong. We DO need to get our own house in order but the only ones we'll be doing it for are ourselves. The notion that it would have the slightest effect of the Leckies of this world seems very dubious. They might not condemn us for singing songs but they will certainly continue to disparage us over some other issue. They haven't hounded Morelos over sectarianism but they still do their damnedest to have him suspended and his reputation tarnished. It wasn't singing TBB that appointed Compliance Officers who have demonstrably favoured our main rival. And it wasn't calling opposition managers sad ****** bastards that led to a BBC boycott of reporting from Ibrox.
  9. It seems to me there's a personal decision to be made here, one that forces everyone who could attend to choose between action or apathy, to take a step beyond their keyboard or leave the stage to those with greater commitment.
  10. Bill

    George Byers

Whatever this young man's future might hold, I thank him for such a public expression of support for our club. Too many shrink from admitting allegiance to Rangers, so it's nice when someone does.
  11. There seems to be a sad and widespread misunderstanding on here of Vanguardbears and the efforts they have made over recent years but that's no excuse for the active attempts to belittle and undermine their activities when directed at the likes of the BBC. Frankly, it shows a level of prejudice and ignorance that the Green Brigade would be proud of.
  12. It's pathetic but if it's really what you base your views on then I'm sure no one will miss you.
  13. How do you know that's true?
  14. Pretty solid performance all round. MOTM Ryan Jack ... again.
  15. I’d take Shinnie over Dorrans any day.
  16. I can’t understand why you’re still here if you feel so offended.
  17. We can. We can start reversing the divisions that nationalism has wrought in Scottish life over the last 50 years. It won’t be done overnight but the first step undoubtedly is to clear away an SNP government that is spreading so much poison. I probably won’t live long enough to see the damage undone but I do expect to see the end of the independence deceit. In the meantime I have absolutely no doubt that much of this incessant campaign against Rangers has its origins in an SNP inner circle that despises everything about us.
  18. I believe we’ll need to get beyond the madness of SNP nationalism before we begin to see any change in attitudes in Scotland. Rangers has become everyone’s enemy for reasons well beyond the football pitch. In fact, football is really the least of it. To see Rangers fans acting as advocates for the SNP is sickening.
  19. You’re right but don’t do it because you think it will stop the witch hunt against Rangers - because it won’t. Let’s be be honest about this, no one is actually offended by these songs. Not genuinely offended. No one at all. This is the age of victimhood, when it is fully acceptable to pretend to be offended and have it accepted as valid for the sole purpose of attacking someone in the process, in this case Rangers. Sure, the songs give the enemy an easy target but if it wasn’t the songs it would be something else. That’s how life is for Rangers and that’s how it will continue. There’s no end to this. It’s not going to stop and eventually it will wear us all down to until ...
  20. Artichokes?
  21. And more than a few wanted Clarke as manager of Rangers
  22. Hey, we’re not here to talk about football ?
  23. Must say I’m enjoying these videos. A lot.
  24. Blacks, women, gingers, homosexuals, baldies, Catholic’s, Protestants, Jews, Muslims, Irish, Poles, English ... we all get called names, doesn’t mean we have to get all sensitive and shed tears over it.
