There are too many pressers these days. They're generally boring because managers can't really/honestly speak about the things we want them to. Having said that, Gerrard was far better than GvB or Beale on that front.

Caring as much about how you look as actually fixing a problem is a soft approach to life. Better just admitting you made a mistake and fixing it.

In retrospect, I think Beale might've worked out and the board should have given him more time, if for no other reason than to put the club in a good light. Only kidding, the guy was clueless and should've been punted sooner.

Barker was rubbish. End of. I thought Rossiter had the makings of a good midfielder but the injury problems just wouldn't go away. A curveball from me - I thought Pena was pretty good. Obviously had a drink/attitude problem but the lad could definitely create and score goals.
