  1. Gersnet says we stick with him. None of us seem to know what the board think (maybe they're happy with him or maybe they're working hard to bring in a new manager). I can't believe he's still here.
  2. If we stick with Beale, our ambitions are way below that level of success.
  3. There's always an element of luck involved when it comes to managerial appointments. The Souness 'revolution' directly benefited from the English club ban from European competitions. Any new Rangers manager has to deal with the EPL completely dwarfing Scottish football, so those halcyon days of 1986 and 9 in a Row are long gone, as are the days of players training at Gullane Sands, Super Ally, John Greig booting opposition players up in the air and all the rest. Winning domestic titles should be our number one priority. We don't need a revolution for that - we just need a good manager and some better players.
  4. Considering Souness had no managerial experience and ended up a dud at Liverpool, it could be argued Holmes got lucky with that appointment. Maybe we should look for another ex-Liverpool midfielder rookie manager. Shame Xabi Alonso is already doing well. Wonder what Vladimir Smicer and Patrik Berger are up to these days?
  5. Anyone got any 'sack the board' banners handy then?
  6. People seem keen to delay the inevitable.
  7. I've never booed the team, just for the record.
  8. I think the booing is justified at the minute. The Rangers support have shown unwavering loyalty, despite all the crap we've had to endure in the past eleven years and the current performances and results are a disgrace. Most of us have had it with Beale and that isn't going to change. I think he's way out of his depth and it's time either he or the board accepted that and make the necessary change(s) before another league title is lost.
  9. Their players and coaches can be signed up without us becoming part of the franchise.
  10. Just watching Sportscene and Aberdeen running riot against Ross County. Wonder what it feels like to watch your team running riot?
  11. Pace and unpredictability would certainly offer alternatives to what's currently on display.
  12. I don't think many are wanting to sack the board. We do want them to make more informed and inspired football related appointments though and not just stick to the 'he knows the club/league' crap.
  13. Worth bearing in mind that Hagi has not long since returned from a long injury, which is maybe contributing to him not starting in Spain.
  14. Go defensive at home to a Celtc side missing their two central defenders. Go defensive at home to Motherwell to hold on to a one goal lead. Not the signs of a winning mentality.
  15. I'm not a fan of 'what if'. Beale is never good enough to manage Rangers. His record at QPR wasn't great and he was only appointed because of his stint with Gerrard. If something isn't working, you change it. Beale isn't working.
  16. I don't think getting rid of the board is the way to go. Getting them to get some more expertise in making managerial appointments would be preferable. We need to stop going back to previous employess. The board seem to suffer from the same over-sentimentality that a lot of the support do.
  17. I've changed my mind and think we should stick with Beale. His tactics and substitutions today kept Motherwell at bay and things are starting to click up front. Just kidding. GTF Beale.
  18. Less pedants ÷ less confrontation.
  19. We're playing Wednesday and Saturday next week. Our piss poor performance against Celtc was unforgivable and means we'll likely be playing catch up for the remainder of the season.
  20. We've got a better goalie but the same old defensive mishaps are continually costing us goals.
  21. The domestic stuff is where Beale will be judged. I still want him gone ASAP.
  22. Beale isn't going to play three at the back, regardless of how much it is desired by posters on Rangers forums.
  23. Rousseau is too busy recovering from a win to collate stats.
