  1. I'm thinking most of the No voters are either at the wind up or a bit mental. If it's the former, it isn't funny. If it's the latter, best wishes to your nearest and dearest.
  2. Don't think we've got much room to point fingers.
  3. I'd just like to reiterate what Bluedell said. Football Insider is not a reliable source.
  4. It's about the battle of Bannockburn.
  5. Not that old chestnut.
  6. Fair point, although a vote of confidence or something along those lines wouldn't end the gossiping.
  7. What could the board say that would make any difference? They haven't sacked him, so what they're doing behind the scenes is all open to conjecture.
  8. Haggerty laying bare the sheer hypocrisy of that lot with her comments. What are they like!? So TBB, NPoR and the Famine Song can be put in the 'football rivalry/banter' category again, I suppose. Fine by me. 😀
  9. No but Liverpool (the city) has been Irishified, just like Glasgow, Dundee and all the other shitholes that vote for people who hate being British.
  10. I don't mind national anthems before international sports events. It's a good opportunity to bring people together for a brief moment. I always love hearing La Marseillaise. I also enjoy watching sportsmen singing their anthem passionately - it can be quite stirring. The UK has an odd history, which causes a lot of the issues around anthems. GSTK is divisive and FoS has also become divisive because of Scottish Nationalism. I don't see these problems going away, so it'd be better if we all just got on with it and ignored people who act the goat.
  11. Caledonia should be what we use as an anthem for sporting events, in my opinion. A beautiful song that doesn't mention our neighbours. I don't think it really matters much but clearly these things bother Stewart, which is nice.
  12. Aside from the poor use of English, what a lot of tripe this pretend intellectual spouts.
  13. I'd like to dedicate this number to John McGinn...
  14. They won't sack him but they should. They really should. I think that. I really do. England totally outclassed Scotland last night but you just have to look at their attacking options, versus Scotland’s, to see why. Nice to see Andy Robertson gift Bellinham a goal.
  15. Wonder if Vranjes has watched any of Barisic's performances at the Piggery.
  16. Him being sacked before 2024 is inevitable. There's plenty of evidence he isn't good enough. I'm hoping the only reason he's still here is because the board are sorting out a new manager and would prefer to stick with Beale than to use an interim.
  17. I'm really disappointed Beale is still here. That first half against an under-strength, out of form yahoo team, at Ibrox, was unforgivable and proved Beale does not have the cajones to manage at Rangers. It left me with the exact same feeling as GvB's post-Ajax interview.
  18. Internet rumours aren't exclusive to international breaks. 😉
  19. What we're seeing is a stay of execution.
  20. I'd hope the management and players can do their necessary work at Ibrox, where I understand they're training whilst England use the training centre. I'm far more concerned about the person running the training than where it's taking place.
  21. Pointless managerial candidate conversations aplenty. Looks like we might have Beale at the helm for a wee while longer anyway.
  22. I had a discussion with a fellow Rangers fan recently, where he told me Scotland used to wear black socks, as a nod to Queens Park and this carried on into the 60s. I always thought the socks were navy, like the shirt. Anyone know which of us is correct? I have a fashion rule where I never wear navy and black simultaneously because it looks hideous, so I hope I'm right.
  23. I would normally agree but I'm not looking forward to the match at St Johnstone. We've had a few slip ups there recently.
