Interesting to note that the Swedish clubs (over 50% fan owned) successfully voted against using VAR in their domestic matches. A good Calvinist lot are the Swedes (apart from the Malmo manager, the bloke with a face like a Martian and Johan Mjallby).

Definitely one of the most frustrating aspects of his game. Constantly bullied, giving away the ball and falling over. Imagine last night if we had a much better 9 and 10 playing (Lawrence wasn't very good either).

In other indirectly Rangers related Euro news, it was nice to see Lazio smash the cheats of Dynamo Kiev, 3-0.

We seem to manage that for about two five minute spells per match.

Couldn't agree more. All the great Rangers sides reacted well to adversity and enjoyed big pressure matches.

I voted for Barron. He adds some zip to our play when we're looking too ponderous.

How are we all thinking this one will go? Looks like Cortes is injured (no news on extent of injury but he missed training today). Disappointing, as I think he looks a good prospect. I'm not confident and think we'll lose 1 or 2-0. Hope I'm wrong.

Furuhashi doesn't have a great record against the dross but Celtc usually thump them anyway. He scores pretty much every time he plays against us. Gets one chance, scores. Whereas Dessers needs about ten chances to score against them. Our record at Parkhead needs a bloody psychology report. There's clearly a mental issue involved, which is pathetic really. Nothing remotely intimidating about the Oirish theme park. Treat them with nothing but contempt.

There's no way we're bringing in Joel Matip.

There's always a tightrope for any club looking for investment and given our recent history, we're right to be wary about who wants want. I think we have every right to be critical about failings since 55 but at the same time, these guys have put their money up and are Rangers men. We need to get significantly better at recruitment (on and off the field).

I don't think the club being open to investment is particularly revelatory. I'd imagine any club running at a loss would be, to some extent.

Finally figured out who Igamane reminds me of. Anyone remember Kid'N'Play?

Definitely the type of player we should be looking at.

It's normal to expect more expensive players to hit the ground running and have more of an impact.
