We looked lacklustre in the first half. They were first to every second ball and that cost us. Goldson could easily have stopped the second goal with a straightforward tackle. A draw in Rotterdam is a decent result but we should have won that match.

I'm nervously looking forward to this evening's match. I expect Feyenoord to go at us from kick off, so our players will have to be on their toes. Weather the storm and grow into the match (like we did in Portugal) and we can do it.

We haven't won a trophy during King's tenure...yet. His role as chairman will be remembered more for what he did off the pitch, which was vitally important. But football fans tend to focus on success on the pitch.

King has been a hugely important factor in the club emerging from our recent problems. He deserves a massive thank you for all he has done. On 8th December, Gerrard and the team have a real chance to say thank you in a more meaningful way. Hopefully, 2020 sees us regain our rightful place as Champions, with Rangers men continuing to run the club in a sensible manner.
