  1. I don't doubt this information but are there any links or official statements regarding FARE being found guilty (by whom?)?
  2. He was interviewed for this article in Vice and I think it's fair to say, given his comments, his impartiality on any issues regarding NI and Glasgow football would be questionable, at best... https://www.vice.com/amp/en_uk/article/aexjv8/palestine-the-ira-and-a-soccer-team39s-solidarity-uk-translation?__twitter_impression=true " Sean Huddleston, a university lecturer in Scotland and an avid supporter of Celtic believes the answer has to do with Celtic supporters' historical identification and understanding of Palestinian issues. "The more Republican inclined Celtic supporter will feel affinity with the Palestinian cause due to the perceived links between the Irish Republican and the Palestinian struggle." "With regards to supporting nationalism and liberation, the more overt supporters of the Palestinian cause that you would see at Celtic Park would be inclined towards being supportive of other left-centre, revolutionary struggles in a global sense anyway," says Huddleston.".
  3. Aye. It's from a video and I must say he is a decidedly poor orator (there's a link I provided earlier in the thread - Page 5, post #44).
  4. Well done, Club 1872! https://club1872.co.uk/news/club-1872-statement-on-fare/

    FARE

    A glimmer of hope... https://club1872.co.uk/news/club-1872-statement-on-fare/
  6. If he's sitting next to you tomorrow, ask him who the FARE rep at the Celtc match is...

    FARE

They're too busy banning Rangers fans for celebrating last minute winners and waving silly banners, in airports, to recognise the real enemy.
  8. Davis is a big miss. He had been playing really well prior to Cosgrove's deliberate and successful attempt to injure him. I think Katic will be delighted to get a chance to play CB and hope he excels. Hopefully the team have forgotten Sunday and we can get a third home win in the group.
  9. He's put on some weight and had a haircut since that photo was taken. I wonder if his Twitter account was suspended by Piara...
  10. I see he's involved in this, another diversity think-tank infested with yahoos... https://footballcollective.org.uk/challenging-the-narrative-critical-thinking-in-football/ "Sean is a PhD candidate in the School of Education at the University of the West of Scotland (UK). He is a graduate in modern history and his field of expertise lies in the history of national identity in Scotland and Ireland. He recently organised Scotland’s first ever conference on Football and bigotry in October 2016 (‘Football, Education and Prejudice’) and edited the collected work Football Fans, Rivalry and Cooperation (Routledge Research in Sport, Culture and Society). He has written for Times Educational Supplement, Vice, the Glasgow Herald Newspaper and appeared on BBC Radio Scotland. You can follow Sean on twitter at @seanhuddleston2". His Twitter account (seanhuddleston2) has been suspended.
  11. You would hope our board will raise the tweet and FARE's response with UEFA but I won't hold my breath. Some Rangers fans seem to get more angry at other Rangers fans for daft banners than they do about this obvious anti-Rangers bias from an anti-discrimination group that advises UEFA. How odd.
  12. We all know what FARE are/is.
  13. They played in NI a couple of years ago but away fans were officially not allowed to attend (although some were in attendance).
  14. I've had a couple of temporary bans and rightly so.
  15. I suppose an inanimate object is a step up from bending over for that lot.
  16. Young Boys are the worst team in the group. If we can't beat them at Ibrox, it would be hugely disappointing.
  17. You sound like one of them.
  18. Spot on. BTW, Scott Brown looks like one of those bald headed creatures in the film 'Freaks'.
  19. Literally or metaphorically? The former was impossible for me and many others, I'd assume, due to family/work commitments. The latter...supporting a football team passionately is all a bit daft on any philosophical level, so seeing things with perspective and being reasonable tend not to figure much on football forums, particularly after losing a big match. We failed to win the cup.
  20. I doubt it will make any difference. If you expect football fans to forget about losing a cup final, to their bitter rivals, within a day or two...then you aren't living in the real world.
  21. Sunday's match will tell us a whole lot about the team. We really need 3 points but we also need to show the cup final defeat isn't going to negatively impact our season.
  22. I don't criticise players when I'm at the match (with some rare exceptions, none of which occurred yesterday). I'm not criticising Kent regarding his purchase. I'm criticising Gerrard. Just my opinion, craig.
  23. To be fair, I though he was overrated last season and believe we paid far too much for him. Nothing has changed on that front really. On another note, I think the atmosphere at these matches has diminished over the years. It felt quite flat yesterday and I was surrounded by blokes who didn't join in with a single song but were quick to criticise players often enough. I think some need to read the definition of 'support'.
  24. It was announced as a televised match some time ago.
  25. I have been saying it since we paid that amount for him.
