Having watched quite a lot of English football over the past 24 hours, I am damn sure I don't want VAR anywhere near the SPL. The whole thing is a farce and would undoubtedly be worse up here, given the standard of the officials.

I think fans who want VAR should all chip in to pay for it. Fair's fair.

I see there was a PA announcement at the Huddersfield Town vs Stoke City match, due to Huddersfield fans singing "F*ck the IRA" at McLean. It's widely being reported as a 'racist' and 'sectarian' incident. McLean was apparently making hand gestures at the Huddersfield fans (who he has previous with) prior to the chant and then applauded the announcement. We live in odd times...

Celtc aren't a bad side. They topped their EL group and Lennon has won all three trophies since Rodgers left. They have also beaten us at the Piggery, Hampden and Ibrox in that time. We have done well, so far, this season but I'm not getting carried away yet. The dismal second half display at Pittodrie, dropped points against an awful Hearts team and our inability to capitalise on our dominance in the LCF are reminders that we aren't there yet.

Of course. It'll be interesting to see what areas Gerrard looks to strengthen in January. I still think the wide attacking areas could be improved - Barker and Ojo are weak links.

The fact that VAR is being debated ad nauseam demonstrates it has many flaws.
