  1. Football, in general, is over-analysed nowadays. It was a cup game. We fielded a weakened team and won, with a bit of huffing and puffing. That's about it.
  2. They're holding a Wellbeing & Protection Meeting at the Piggery? I would say thats unbelievable but in modern, SNP run, Scotland, it is entirely predictable. Shameful.
  3. Tough call between this and Kent's goal at the Piggery. Both similar in their rapid, fluid execution.
  4. If you insist, Mr Clancy.
  5. I suppose it's a good fixture to get us ready for the more important ones ahead. I think we've seen enough of Halliday at this point and should be looking to let him go.
  6. As a passionate football fan, I'd have to say a rival player tying their scarf to the goalposts at the opposition's ground is considerably more inflammatory than a hip-hoppish goal celebration. Did Griffiths get off with his misdemeanor because he's a verified racist or is it because he's a helpless vicTIM?
  7. A notable difference from last season's January kick off is the (lack of) addition of new players. Davis and Defoe have been very good signings but it felt like they were shoehorned into the match at Rugby Park. We won't have that problem this time. A comfortable victory with no injuries is what's required tonight.
  8. Has Leckie managed to get himself a date yet? I bet he wishes he could get women as hot and bothered as he gets Rangers fans.
  9. Unless you're happy to pay more than £20 for a bottle of bath/shower gel, then you're unlikely to use their products.
  10. Just let us know if you need anyone to hold your jackets.
  11. Club1872's statement shows the club are keeping an eye on the press, so there's little requirement for evidence to be compiled here. Article's like Leckie's are best ignored.
  12. I'm glad I never got into gambling. I'm glad the government are taking steps like this but I doubt it'll make much difference to the many people with gambling problems.
  13. Trips to England are always good for a laugh, although I missed the train home when we played at Craven Cottage, in 2004 (we didn't hire a bus for that one). Despite being on the platform prior to the train leaving, with my RSC nearby, I blacked out and next thing I knew I was sitting next to a bin ....at a different railway station!? I'd still love to know what on Earth I did during that few hours. ? And thanks to my mum, who paid for my train ticket the following day.
  14. This is the type of overreaction those Aberdeen fans would've wanted. People being offended about words and banners will do our club more harm than others. It's football, not a picnic for old ladies.
  15. Signings are announced almost immediately via the official social media sites. Nothing the rags report isn't available online, somewhere else, anyway. Cretins like Spiers and Leckie crave attention. Ignorance is bliss!
  16. That rag should have been consigned to the past by all football fans in April 1989.
  17. People who care about Rangers shouldn't be buying the Sun or the Record or viewing their online content.
  18. I would prefer it if we didn't do any business with Dundee United. In Morelos, Defoe and Stewart, we have three strikers and that's enough for our current playing formation.
  19. The two goals he gave away in Switzerland were unforgettable. I like Tav but he had an awful start to the season.
  20. Embrace their hatred. It will make victory all the sweeter.
  21. I was one of the few who said we should stick with Barisic*. He always looked a good fooballer...the turnaround seems to be entirely in attitude and realisation of what the club is all about. He's been essential to our recent performances. Clubs like Roma are likely to turn an SPFL player's head but I think the lad will want to win the league with us. *I also said we should be looking in the Balkans for players.
  22. It was on Morrison Street (2 mins from Haymarket Station).
  23. I recall a big guy named Coco on the UJ bus. Vague memories though - typical boozed up away games. One of the funniest memories on my own RSC bus was trip to the Piggery, also in the late 90s. We were stuck in traffic, so a lad got off for a p*ss (by some billboards, not far from the ground) and we all saw two Policemen walking towards him, so banged the windows and pointed towards them...he assumed we were waving at him, so he waved back (whilst p*ssing) and ended up getting lifted and missing the match. I think that was the '98 SC semi. Weird the things that stick with us. ?
