  1. It'd be good to know that the club are working on this behind the scenes but if they are, it's having no positive impact. I feel highlighting the more ridiculous decisions publicly would be worthwhile (the Morelos vs Hulk Hogan match last night would be a good example).
  2. It's interesting to see people going mad about a partnership with a golf course, who say nothing about sponsorship deals with gambling and alcohol firms. I can't stand golf, by the way.
  3. No.6 had no sponsor during its first season (84/85, I think). That was a cracking shirt!
  4. Colin Stein and John Greig (68-76).
  5. 1968-76, by far.
  6. The reaction to this is likely to be highly amusing.
  7. We should have had 3 or 4 goals in the 2nd half.
  8. At least BT isn't publicly funded.
  9. I woke up in a jolly good mood. Late goals (in either half) are always fun and there's a guaranteed spring in my step after we beat the Leith tramps. ?
  10. Just back from the match. Good timing with both goals. I thought we played well, in phases. Kent, Aribo and Arfield were disappointing. Hagi was impressive and Tav and Goldson played well, with a special mention for Edmundson, who seems to really 'get it'.
  11. Probably.
  12. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51377205 "Hamburg are to trial allowing fans to use pyrotechnics legally at a game for the first time this weekend. The Bundesliga 2 club have successfully applied to allow fans to set off 10 smoke devices before their home match with Karlsruher on Saturday.". Great to see HSV lead the way on this. The fans at Bundesliga matches show up most of Europe when it comes to atmosphere, so it's no surprise this is happening there.
  13. Michael Stewart is the Twitter face of Scottish Nationalism.
  14. Whilst I agree, I suspect that Traynor is just doing his own PR, in this instance. The press get free reign to criticise Rangers players and the Rangers support but as soon as a word is said about the board, they come out fighting. It's all getting a bit tiresome. Anyone, Everyone (but some matter far more than others)...
  15. The board are more likely to take action against Rangers supporters for over-celebrating a goal than they are to take the Lawwell puppets in the press to task.
  16. Firing some torpedoes at PQ and putting him in the stocks would be more suitable.
  17. One thing I'm sure everyone will agree about is Celtc being good at cover-ups.
  18. Turn up, buy stuff, behave like good little boys, keep your opinions to yourselves and go home. Yadda, yadda, yadda...
  19. Michael Stewart despises Rangers because he didn't make the grade, as a player and because he's one of those bitter, bitter ScotNat creatures who would prefer Rangers FC to have gone out of existence in 2011, due to his political outlook.
  20. Aribo, Davis, Kent and Arfield need to start showing some form again or we'll continue to drop points. Kamara should be dropped from the squad after his recent dismal performances.
  21. Apart from qualifying from the EL group stages, this is rapidly turning into another season to forget.
  22. That's quite a lot of new and interesting information to wake up to, JFK. Do you have any other insights into the Aberdeen FC and their support that we might learn from?
  23. That's the one that has scunnered me more than any other. The custodians at Ibrox are doing a good job in some respects but are f*cking useless in others. They're never slow to throw the support under the bus.
  24. I said to my old man after Saturday's match that Cosgrove seems to be allowed 7 or 8 fouls before a card is produced, whereas Morelos simply has to frown to get one. Brown and Griffiths are given free reign to kick, stamp and elbow their way through matches. Obviously both are exemplary fellows, so perhaps that gains them a few Brownie points with Clancy, Dallas et al.
  25. It's easy to get a banner that size in. Where do you draw the line at offensive? It was a daft banner and it's better to ignore it than highlight it.
