  1. They can't stop scoring, against good opponents. We can't stop conceding, against poor opponents. A defeat wouldn't be a surprise. My worry is that they'll hammer us. I hate losing at Ibrox but can accept a good side beating us. 3 or 4-0 humpings are hard to stomach.
  2. At this juncture, I'm not sure about the manager situation. If SG can't turn things round in the coming weeks, I think we might need to look at alternatives, which is extremely disappointing. Leverkusen beat Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0 today. I'm worried about Thursday (and the league is finished).
  3. He has looked every inch an Aberdeen player, to me, recently.
  4. I'd go for a diamond in midfield, Patterson at RB and Kamberi and Morelos up front. Jack Aribo Kamara Hagi Morelos Kamberi If Gerrard continues to play Hagi wide, I'll be thinking his time is coming to an end.
  5. If we can get over £25m for Morelos and Barasic, we could bring in 5 or 6 very good players and become a league winning team. Morelos is unique and on his day, unplayable but he's not a top quality finisher by any means. Barisic, again, is terrific on his day but not irreplaceable. We've been far too reliant on two or three players these past two seasons and when they're off form, we struggle to break teams down. We need a better team and we need a spine with a winning mentality. Goldson, Tav, Jack, Davis and Kamara don't provide that - replace them with winners.
  6. After Hearts and Hamilton, I think I'll give watching this match a miss. Totally scunnered with our domestic form, which has gone from poor to abysmal.
  7. We should offer them 400 or nothing.
  8. I'd vote for every supporter who stayed til the end. They're the only people who deserve any praise for last night's gutless showing.
  9. Shocked? Yes. Gutted? Of course. Never be ashamed to be a Rangers man. Even at our lowest points as a club, I have woken up and felt grateful that I'm not a pretend victim and don't support a paedo enabling institution. We'll come back from the current slump. When...? I wish I knew but it will happen.
  10. We've gone from looking a top side to a complete shambles in a couple of months. It's baffling. Gerrard looks like he doesn't have a clue how to turn it around. Leverkusen will hump us next week if the players don't screw the nut.
  11. About bloody time Kent was dropped. Hopefully Kamberi and Morelos can wreak havoc up front.
  12. Playing Hagi out wide is a total waste of the best footballer in the squad. I think half the squad have downed tools and can see a few painful (to watch) matches between now and the end of the season. I hope I'm wrong...
  13. Given recent news stories, I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few SNP politicians who think there's nothing wrong with what went on at Celtic's youth club.
  14. Not one league title though.
  15. The term 'hammer-throwers' seems rather meaningless. Hearts are a side with minimal footballing skill, who run themselves into the ground when we play in Gorgie. They aren't a bunch of muscular heavyweights, who kick and elbow everything in their path - which would be a reasonable definition of 'hammer-thrower'. Stevie Naismith is their central motivating force and he's a midget who dives more than Tom Daley.
  16. It's common knowledge that football banning orders aren't really enforced.
  17. Yesterday there were spells where we had no shape whatsoever. And I'm a person that rarely notices that sort of thing. Gerrard said we were at 'sixes and sevens', in his post match interview and he was spot on.
  18. It's all very Warburtonesque. That's the third time we've been Tynecastle this season and the third time we've played terribly, with nothing having really changed, in terms of how we set up. You could argue each performance there has been worse than the last.
  19. I still can't get over Gerrard replacing Arfield with Ojo.
  20. Do you go to many games, PoohBear? Paying £30+ to watch a performance like that can make a man quite angry, especially after a few drinks.
  21. Rather than defend it, I was more interested in how you responded and the wording used. Throwing a coin is an idiotic thing to do, undoubtedly.
