I saw four Portsmouth players were diagnosed with it a few days ago but McCrorie wasn't named. Good luck to the lad.

Not sure if you've heard but this virus thing will last months, rather than weeks. -
I feel privileged to have seen him play and score for Rangers. A terrific footballer, one of us and a very gracious person, by all accounts.

It seems pointless dragging this on. A decision should be made. -
Durrant's goal in Marseille. The whole world seemed to go in ultra slow motion as soon as his boot touched the ball. For games I actually attended, I'd say Barry Ferguson's free-kick in the Lovenkrands Cup Final. Having the technique to do that is very unusual for a Scotsman.

That sort of sums up the Scottish press. Rancid. -

I agree with Hartson. The final decision should be made by Rangers FC. ? -
How very civilised and convivial. ? I was seeing a Spanish girl years ago and she advised me that the skint folk there get a pint glass and fill it 50/50 with red wine and coke. It's actually not bad at all. I tend to drink white wine too fast.

No tourists, no half and half scarves and no twits filming someone taking a bloody throw-in on their mobile phone.

Nothing wrong with a nice Rioja.

I love it when BT Sport shows old English matches. I watched a few from the late 70s the other day and thoroughly enjoyed the robust nature of it all. For some reason, Jeff Astle stood out but that's probably because I used to watch Baddiel and Skinner's programme.

It's obviously subjective and the comments on this thread show we all have different ideas about what playing clever might look like. Personally, I'd like the club to advise supporters that certain press agencies are best avoided and went down a more singular route, by improving our own media channels to the point where Bears have little or no interest in what the BBC or Daily Record have to say. I'd start by revoking press privileges for those same outlets. It's more a case of 'we don't need them' than 'no one likes us, we don't care'. I'd also like our PR department to confront any misleading or questionable news items about Rangers and do more to stick up for the supporters (although I realise it's down to us, not the club, to cut out the FTPs etc). There's a red top story today about a historic tweet by our new PR chap, where he refers to Parkhead as the Piggery and they have inserted the word sectarian to describe the comment. Now, Parkhead was built where there was a piggery and the insult has no sectarian undertones whataoever - so we should be challenging this sort of nonsense publicly. But that's just my opinion.

I think alcohol in moderation isn't unhealthy. I drink whisky fairly regularly and never seem to get the cold. Unfortunately, it took me until I was in my late-30s to be able to understand what 'in moderation' actually means. Can't beat a pint of McEwan's 80, followed by a Speyside malt.

Are you suggesting Rangers should operate an employment policy that discriminates against members of the OO? Our club and our support is perceived a certain way by large parts of Scottish/society and media. I've read Tims online stating they want to oversee the Espanyolification of Rangers, where Celtc remain a politiciced behemoth of a football club and we become a sideshow (like Barcelona and Espanyol), where it's all about the football for us and we ditch all the bigotry. That's where they want us and that's what we will become if we bend over and do as we're told. I get that loads of Rangers fans have no interest in the Irish issues* but you come to games and you know what the songs are about, so what are you expecting? *the OO holds absolutely no appeal for me.

I think the club have done far more than most to appease Fare. The recent tweet by one their staff should have given us the advantage - I'm not sure what's gone on behind the scenes since that though. BBC Scotland - I think that's beyond repair, in all honesty, until a change of hierarchy happens at PQ. As yourself and others have said, only time will tell...

If we're going to let Highlanders lead the way, we may as well appoint heads of clans and get the battle skirts dusted down. ? -
I think you need to take a step back and evaluate your situation if an appointment at the football club you support is of such a concern to you. As Rangers fans, I'm sure we've all taken our fair share of stick about the club we support, particularly over the past few years. It's quite easy to deal with, unless you lack belief in yourself.
