You really have to wonder about some of the people running Scottish football and those running the majority of member clubs. Most of the supporters of the other clubs are already known to be a bunch of petty gits, willing to cut off their noses to spite their faces.

I'm not sure UEFA will be able to make a blanket decision. It all seems to be up in the air. I suspect the big leagues, big clubs and the TV companies will make the big decisions.

I'm thinking if null and void is going to happen then the whole thing could hinge on Hearts and their actions. I doubt they have the wherewithal, to be honest but it'll be interesting to watch this play out.

Because our fans continue to fund all these clubs after 2012, it's no wonder they know they can do the bidding of they Timmy masters with no financial repercussions. If there were more like me (I grudgingly stopped going to away matches as soon as we returned to the top division) we would rule the roost. Depressing.

I couldn't get a ticket, so went to the Postal worker's union place just off Easter Road. Fortunately, Hibs qualified for Europe that day, so I got away with completely losing the plot at full-time (the place was full of Hibs fans). I have no idea how or when I left or how I got home that night.

My old man has a Bar 72 ST and told me about this price rise in January. Seems quite excessive, particularly in the current climate. As a person uninterested in programmes, celeb speakers, live entertainment and complimentary pies (and someone who occasionally gets to sit in Bar 72), I tend to agree with the OP.

Time will tell regarding the financial hit. Someone on £10k a week might have regular outgoings of £6k per week*, so taking an immediate 50% wage hike would certainly have a severe personal impact. *Simplistic, I know.
