Disappointing second half but the win is really what matter. Hopefully the slack, disjointed play was just a hamgover from the international break. -

Some of the defending is poor. They look half asleep. -

Aribo seems a bit off the pace. -

There have been a handful of moments where it looks like the back four have never played together before. -

Players often score soon after I criticise them on here. On the morning of 8th December, I'm going to criticise the whole team. -

We go wide too often. There's no point when we have no presence in the box. -

Not a penalty for me. I still think we're missing a player who can play a killer pass. Kent, for all his great runs, rarely has an end product. -
Impossible to advise a 16 year old and his family he should stay at Rangers when Chelsea or Liverpool are offering the lad £8k more a week.

Strong line-up, with Davis and Morelos sensibly rested. -
It's disappointing but realism comes into play and you have to accept that a small number of clubs are hoovering up the best young talent. Rangers have done it in Scotland for decades.
-
A lot of people with reasonable wealth support Rangers. The problem is, there aren't many with stratospheric wealth and even if there were, Scottish football is not a good investment. I have some minimal inside info and haven't heard a thing about significant investment. I wouldn't suggest there's much to get excited about...but hope I'm wrong.

I find the matches at Kilmarnock, Livingston and Hamilton to be lacking in good football/entertainment because of the pitches. Something needs to be done about it but all three clubs get very poor crowds, so additional help might be required. -
Press Conference: Steven Gerrard & Filip Helander | 22 Nov 2019

Please someone shoot me if I ever take anything Derek Ferguson or Frank McAvennie say seriously. We need to start winning things before Gerrard is considered a success (same as any Rangers manager). Some huge games coming up... -

Do you think when the coefficient is suitably improved, the clubs qualifying for Europe could put some money aside to assist all top flight clubs to have natural grass pitches? -
Geordies aren't really English. ? I'll swap Steven for Reyna.

I know a handful of people who have been banned from matches (not just Rangers fans) and the only one who didn't regularly attend matches during the ban had to sign in at a Police station when matches took place and that was because it was a violent crime he committed. Bans are more tick box exercises than anything else.

Most of Ibrox is filled with season ticket holders, so it's highly unlikely you'll see any pyrotechnics. The club has CCTV in place and would certainly ban anyone who is caught letting one off, which renders the above poll redundant. Away games are another matter, with groups of friend gathering together and people knowing they can get away with a bit more. We've always had an element of nutters and Ultra fan culture (where pyro is seen as a great thing) is becoming more prevalent in the UK. Good luck stopping the odd flare at away matches because you've got next to no chance unless you want everyone strip searched.
-
I don't recall any flares being set off by Rangers supporters at Ibrox. A few have been set off at away matches, with no action having been taken against the club. UEFA take quite a dim view of them but the laughable punishment Legia Warsaw received when their fans set off multiple flares at Ibrox tells its own story. #safespaceloyal

The victims of Torbett, Cairney and co certainly know all about walking alone.
-
Regularly reading Aberdeen and Hearts forums are far more dangerous persuits than waving pyrotechnics.
-
The Germans and the Swedes, two relatively placid races, regularly have lots of pyro at their matches. Going to matches in Europe is a breath of fresh air compared to the sterile, almost comatose, atmosphere here in H&S conscious blighty.

One game at a time is what it's all about. Hamilton on Sunday is arguably more important than the final two EL matches. Feyenoord will be tough and I'd be satisfied with a point there.
