  1. It's all ifs and buts at the moment. Potentially, we have a decent side who are well capable of finishing 2nd comfortably. But the 1st half of the season suggests we'll struggle to do that.
  2. Ever since the introduction of the transfer windows, rumours and subsequent signings seem to have become less inspiring. Hardly surprising, given the state of Scottish football and Rangers. Apart from Murphy, I'm not excited by anyone mentioned.
  3. Wilson and Bates/McCrorie look as good as Alves and Cardoso. Herrera has been the biggest flop of the lot.
  4. Has Mad Phil McMadeupname been on the bath salts again?
  5. I suppose. There are probably a number of factors. The SFA beaks probably get free jollies to the international tournaments and we couldn't disrupt that now, could we.
  6. I'm disappointed it didn't work out. Him blowing his nose on Rangers shorts is bizarre and he can stay in Mexico just for that. No need!
  7. Summer football won't improve attendances. Most people go away for a week or two between May and September, meaning they won't get to games. I suspect this is a reason why Summer football is less likely.
  8. Here's the quotes from Naismith: “This is a new company called Sevco. I’ve never met Mr Green or anyone from Sevco. I don’t know who the investors are or what league they’ll be in. So how can I push forward into a new company that I don’t know anything about or any person involved in it? “I have concerns about who is in charge of the new club, definitely. You need to know what business you’re going to be part of. If you don’t, it’s inevitable there will be problems. “The loyalty I had was with Rangers. I’ve never met anyone from Sevco since it’s been formed. And I don’t think I could have moved forward on those terms. “Will I ever come back and support the new club? I haven’t thought about it. Like a lot of Rangers fans, I’m just thinking short-term rather than long-term. Feel free to forgive him. I won't.
  9. I realise where we are, although suggesting the club now has no dignity is a bit of a push - we should always strive to be the best. It's all about opinions and I'd be happy to take someone like Steven Davis back but Naismith and Whittaker should never be anywhere near the club after that unnecessary press conference.
  10. He should pay us to play for us. Injured wee git.
  11. I'm 38 too. I just assumed he was a few years older.
  12. What position is Docherty? Also, anyone know his car license plate or what team his grandpa played for/supported?
  13. The main priority for the top English clubs is a top 4 finish. I doubt Wenger or the club owners care about the FA Cup. I forgot Wolverhampton Wanderers and recent champions, Blackburn Rovers, in my posts above.
  14. A daft fitba song about a team from 50 years ago isn't quite the same as posting on your personal twitter profile that you hope an individual who is in his 40s and has just had a heart attack dies. Although I get your point and there's little doubt if a Tim player from the 2000s had a heart attack some of ours would react similarly. I'm hearing Novo is stable tonight and that's the main thing.
  15. Leeds Utd too (who also went out to a lower league side).
  16. It's mad to think of some of the clubs in the English Championships - Villa and Forest (both European Cup holders), Brum City, both Sheffield sides, Sunderland and Bristol City. Always nice to see top division sides papped out by lower division sides, although I don't think they take it nearly as seriously as they did a few years ago.
  17. Tims behaving like scumbags. Not surprising at all. Wee Nacho has more guts than any of that lot could ever dream of.
  18. If February goes well, I might join you. But as it stands, I think we're too far behind and look just as likely as they do to drop points.
  19. I don't mind the break when the first half of the season has been a disappointment (as the last two have). I'm not really sure it serves any real purpose though.
  20. We need to bring in players who can get us 2nd place. Whether they're 19 or 29, whether they're loans or permanent signings is obviously a talking point but ultimately, not the be all and end all. I want us to get 2nd and beat the Tims this season. Not too much to ask, I hope.
  21. Because the hatred for Rangers FC is infinite for Tims and their cohorts. Must be cos they're jealous of all our recent trophy wins (Petrofac Cup). Obviously nothing to do with their inherent bigotry and subsequent hatred of what we are.
  22. If Tim journalists are contacting other clubs about Rangers' finances then our club should be trying to put a stop to it. Yahoos just get weirder and weirder. Makes me proud to be a Rangers man - they can beat us 100 times on the trot but at the end of the day, we are better people.
  23. I think I know a song about that. I also think I've read enough about our EBT situation for one lifetime. I'll leave it to demented yahoos to spend their sorry lives making films about it and then broadcasting them at the Piggery. Deary me...I could almost pity them if they were human.
  24. I'd rather we got Murphy permanently but I'm not surprised we can't afford the fees being reported.
