  1. My mate (a Bear) told me he was 20 while we watched the match the other night. At 24, he should know better.
  2. His grandpa played for the yahoos, which is a black mark against him.
  3. Great work, as always. Particularly heart-warming at this time of year.
  4. I still think a creative midfielder and a left winger are essential if we want to improve. If Pena isn't ever going to become a first team pick then we're seriously lacking a player who can make things happen.
  5. That's never good to hear. Hopefully he's back in the team early next year.
  6. I think the more fit and athletic a person is, the more likely to sustain long term injuries they are. Footballers are built like proper athletes now, whereas going back 20-30 years you had skinny and fairly chunky blokes all over the pitch.
  7. Barjonas showed up quite well against arguably the best midfield in Scotland last night.
  8. He's still young, so hopefully he'll learn from his mistakes.
  9. We scored two good goals, worked hard and showed determination to win. That's not rubbish.
  10. We won. Let them whine and stamp their feet all they want...it actually makes it more enjoyable, as far as I'm concerned.
  11. We won. That's the priority. And we did so with several first team players missing. We didn't play particularly well but we showed guts and that's something that has been lacking for a few years.
  12. How good was Morelos' goal celebration? Must say, I thought it was perfect..."Sit down ya Hobo tramps!".
  13. I am glad the Scottish press are unable to contain their hatred for us. I was glad when I saw the replay of the handball incident and it did indeed hit Bates' arm. I love winning with dodgy decisions going our way - the frothing at the mouth of those who hate us fills me with joy. Long may it continue. I thought the substitution of Bates for Barjonas last night was very canny and paid off. Hibs didn't look as dangerous in the last 15 minutes of the match. A thumbs up for Barjonas last night too - he did well and never hid.
  14. Hopefully painful and long.
  15. I'm a very happy Bear tonight. I hope Neil Lennon has horrible nightmares.
  16. I'm happy with that side, considering who is available.
  17. I'd be happy to get someone who fulfills two of those. And no Tims allowed.
  18. We need someone with a proven track record, who can deal with pressure and who has won something. Clark has none of these qualities.
  19. McGinn is definitely their best player...hopefully we can nullify him. He also looks like a potato.
  20. They really know how to waste their lives obsessing about Rangers, don't they. Sad cretins.
  21. We went 1-0 up against Hibs at Ibrox and they came back from 2-0 down against the yahoos on Sunday. I would still be quite nervous if it's 1-0 at any point. We need to put a shift in for the full match tonight - Hibs won't back down if we're ahead.
  22. Nice wee write-up. I'm pretty tense and nervous about tonight's game. I'm in Edinburgh but don't have Sky, so will have to go out and find a pub to watch it in....trying to avoid Hibs fans is adding the the tension. 'Mon The Rangers!
  23. It's difficult to pick up on a disinterested look, a rolling of the eyes or even someone shaking their head during a phone call. And things are often misconstrued by the readers of emails (especially sarcasm).
  24. I work in alignment with teams in Poland and India, as well as having higher management in Manchester and despite the ease of communication there are often issues. Face to face interactions often have most impact. I'm not totally stuck in the past. BigJaws - I didn't mean everyday Rangers fans. I meant living in Scotland would perhaps give King a better understanding of how the club is thought of. Not just by us either.
  25. I'd say it's preferable for people involved in the running of any football club to reside fairly close. It's not essential but I don't think it's ideal when our main shareholder resides in the Southern hemisphere. It's easier to get a feel for something when you're closer to it more often. Perhaps if King interacted with Rangers people face to face a bit more often he'd get a better perspective. Mind you, I'm a bit old fashioned.
