Another body in the middle would help the team. Also help in the full back position when Tav/Wallace are attacking.

Even with 2 on each touchline we are not able to stop crosses coming in. I'm also concerned that we are overrun in the middle of the park, other teams will put 3 in there against our 2.

Playing with 2 wingers and 2 attacking fullbacks is not going to win us anything this season.

I'm not sure where Walker might fit in to tell the truth, is he an out and out winger, or can he play anywhere along the front line. A defender who can push the 2 full backs would me my preference for any future signing. There are also the rumours of McLean and Naismith as well !!

As I said last night, we are building a decent squad. Will be interesting to see which 2 out of the 3 play up front on Sat. Probably Jack will come in, but Rossiter will definately give him a run for his money once he is match fit. There is Nico and Pena waiting to come in, and if we sign Walker, Windass might struggle to get a game. Another fullback would be my choice, if we were looking at more additions before the end of August. But all in all well satisfied with the squad and the start to the season.

To think I was nervous before the game. The pressing and tracking back (Windass) right to the end was good to see, shows they are taking in what the Manager wants. It looks like there is competition for places now which can only be good, with another couple of signings the prospect of a decent season could be more than just a dream. The new signings are a big plus for the Manager, Cardosa is a future star.
