I agree wholeheartedly with your last 2 lines. The Manager appointment seems an almighty gamble for a Club on a tight budget.
-
There is also a rumour the transfer budget will be £3m + the money we get for Barrie McKay.

Mentally this team is Finished.

3 going on 6. Not sure where we go from here.

Do we think PC is having trouble communicating his ideas to the players? Reports of unrest with an early start to pre-season and the team not carrying out instructions on the park. There is talk of a clearout in the summer, but with a lack of money and a short window before the Euro games, I would be surprised if this happened. It's not often a team gets the chance to redeem themselves so quickly, let's hope we take the chance.

Warburton signed players from lower English divisions, many had been on loan, some many times. Somehow we have find a way of stopping them, I don't envy the Manager.

To have any chance of challenging in the next few years, most of these players will have to be replaced. At the moment there doesn't seem to be any chance of significant investment, so it will be out of contract, promoting youth and any decent players we can sign at bargain prices. We have no scouting system or a DoF. King is in trouble with the Courts and doesn't seem to be interested in attending our biggest game of the season. Can't wait for next week.

Another Court Case, they come along like Statements, one after the other. -
There are some who target everything and everybody associated with C1872, it doesn't make pleasant reading. I wonder who and what calibre of candidates will want to stand in future elections, it cannot be easy.

Really enjoy seeing young lads make the leap from youth football to the first team. Reading reports from the likes of elf, there seems to be a few in with a chance. As for investing in transfers, we really also have to invest in a scouting system (DoF), for the future.

PEDRO CAIXINHA says his side showed the sacrifice needed to snatch second place in the Premiership after Rangers recorded their biggest victory over Aberdeen for 10 years. It was a smash and grab from the Portuguese’s side as they scored three goals in the final 11 minutes of the game to leave Pittodrie with three points and within nine points of the Dons. Caixinha admitted the Gers were second best at the start of the second-half but Aberdeen’s attacking waves caused him to identify their weakness and he said he looked to Joe Dodoo and Josh Windass to exploit the home side’s defence. The manager told RangersTV: “I didn’t know about the statistics but I knew we were coming here today to face a very strong squad and a very strong side who were living in a very good moment. “We knew from the very beginning that we had to be totally committed with strong organisation and also a lot of sacrifice. “We didn’t get into the game well enough in the first-half and we were possibly worse in the second one. “The first 15-20 minutes of the second-half they were stronger than us and they pushed us to defend. “That is the moment I identified totally the sacrifice of the team and their spirit in order to sustain what is going on. “We knew they couldn’t take it that much, we knew they were taking risks and they were taking risks especially exposing the full-backs. “That is the reason we tried to change something with Joe Dodoo on one side and Josh on the other because they are quick players, they are very intense and they can fill space which is what the end result was.” Caixinha admits second place would have slipped away from the Light Blues if they hadn’t won on the road this weekend and started the possibility of taking six points from Aberdeen. Derek McInnes’ side still have to visit Ibrox after the league splits in two weeks’ time and the Gers boss wants his side to build on their confidence boosting victory. He continued: “This game was crucial to second place, we have more games in front of us, “We need to play Aberdeen again but if you want to reach it then you have to keep winning games and of course you need to beat them twice. “Regarding the result you just win three points and it just means you’re now closer to the opponent in front of you by three points. “We need to keep working and build on this win, it is very important for us to understand that we just conquered three points and we need to remember where we did it and the way we did it but we must keep building.” http://rng.rs/2oVG9DS
