Perhaps if Wilson has him as preferred choice, Southampton were taking an interest in him.
-
Let's see if this is accurate. Jason Holt returns to #Rangers starting 11 tonight Clint Hill in for Wilson. Holt in for Halliday only 2 changes from Friday apparently. Means same frontline

The rumour on twitter Caixinha is the choice of Ross Wilson.

Bruce Archer had Alan Irvine as the new Manager not long ago.

I would have thought first priority would be DofF, once they had their man they would consult him about a Managerial appointment. The Board might have one in place of course, though they seem to be going through a list of Managers.

Re non-exec. Directors, this post from forlassister on another thread may have a bearing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I assume you mean independent non-executive directors if so then I concur. I'd certainly like to see a couple of strong independent non-executive directors on the Board and not necessarily Rangers fans either as we need them to have the ability to say no if the rest let their hearts rule their heads. However as King pointed out rightly (whatever your opinion of him) that as desirable as that is it's simply not possible until some legacy issues have been addressed namely in this instance the Directors liability insurance problem which means we don't carry any Directors liability insurance due to Charles Green writing into his own contract that he had to be insured for a period (5 years or so iirc) on the same basis as any current Director. The current Directors are taking quite a personal risk operating without such cover in place more so given the various court cases, unfortunately I don't think it's possible to ask any potential independent non-executive director to do likewise.

Some saying there might be an announcement on Monday.

The sooner it comes to a head the better, we cannot go on like this.

Only the last line is mine, the speel was the original post from rbr. No idea why it turned out like it did, probably the second bottle.

Just a few years ago few believed things could get any worse that they were , however under DK stewardship or rarther lack of the good ship RFC is heading for the rocks once again , all in the name of saving the board or rather DK . A divided board does no one any good , a devious board even worse , when you look back at things such as getting rid Of RF as a priority instead of funding a new manager it speaks volumes . We are truly fucked IMHO , I have never felt so low as I currently do , that board members are at each other's throats , no direction , no Chairman , no clear path , they can't even agree whether to appoint a manager or D of F first , it's pathetic . Yet the usual arseholes will appear to tell us all DK has a plan , can't buy the bullshit anymore . ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If supporters who know don't reveal anything then nothing will change.

Storm needed to to blow away Nessy- Inverness v Rangers match preview.

Who said we 3/4 players? That's just in defence. -
I might be wrong, but would an ex-Manager be able to constrain himself from interfering in first team matters? I should have said, if he had the D of F position.

http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/173593/32red-and-kindred-agree-175mln-takeover-deal-173593.html Swedish online gaming company Kindred Group has agreed a £175.6mln deal to take out its smaller UK rival 32RED PLC (LON:TTR). The deal is the latest in a wave of betting industry consolidation as bookmakers and online gaming operators look to add additional scale to meet an increasing burden of tax and regulation. Analysts have said the move is overdue given that Kindred – formerly known as Unibet – hasn’t made an acquisition since it bought StanJames.com back in 2015. 32Red has long been seen as a possible target for one of its bigger peers and its share price has rallied in recent weeks on renewed takeover speculation. Under the terms of the bid, 32Red shareholders will receive 196p for each share held as well as a second interim dividend of 4p per share, although this will be paid for by 32Red and not Kindred. In total, the offer values AIM-listed 32Red at a 16% premium compared to yesterday’s closing price of 172p. “We have consistently and profitably grown 32Red's market share in the regulated markets of the UK and more recently, Italy,” said 32Red’s Ed Ware. “The management team at Kindred have a similar business philosophy to our own and we look forward to joining forces with Kindred and continuing our successful growth within the Kindred group.” Kindred said it will fund the acquisition through a new senior debt facility with Swedbank, which has been arranged specifically for this acquisition. The Swedish group, which is actually based in Malta, said it has already received confirmation from shareholders who hold a combined 71.1% stake in 32Red that they will accept the offer. The offer is conditional upon Kindred gaining acceptances of more than 75%. Kindred is one of the world’s largest online gaming and sports betting companies with a portfolio that includes the likes of Unibet, StanJames.com and bingo.com.

Owen Coyle just been sacked.

Trying to please everyone and pleasing no one comes to mind.
-
FFS Alan Irvine and Dougie Freedman. As long as they're Scottish and been a Manager they are linked.
-
To me if we go the D of F route both must have a relationship or it is one almighty gamble.
-
It has looked divided for a while and you have said a few times. Can you say who are at loggerheads and why?

Roger Hynd played at centre forward and scored against celtic in the last League game '66-'67. He then played at centre forward against Bayern in the Euopean Cup Winners Cup 3 weeks later.
-
Sorry to hear, too many.
-
It doesn't work that way.
-
Saved a penalty on his debut.
-
I can agree with this with the midfield and forwards, but no one in the defence is capable of stepping up, no matter who is beside them.

Catholics signs for Rangers and get abuse from celtic fans, wow what a shocker!! Smashing article from an honest Scottish pundit, wow what a shocker. Neil McCann is a throwback to when the Scottish media and commentators talked sense.
