  1. An indecent percentage though.
  2. Seriously doubt 4 or 5 million look at that page, but a large percentage of the Football fans in Scotland are interested in Rangers.
  3. Doesn't stop them putting the score on the front page. There are 42,000 + reasons why a Public Broadcaster funded by the public should cater for joe blog.
  4. They should think of the Licence payers, not the Club. It's us that fund them not Rangers.
  5. Do we know if the Club is getting the money, or perhaps is it being used for the benefit of the Club?
  6. VB's seem to be scoring a few og's recently.
  7. Now I'm not one to get paranoid, or tell people what to watch/buy and what not to watch/buy. But going on the BBC site to perhaps see the highlights, I was shocked to see not one mention of the game. When you think that there were 42,000 TV Licence payers at the match, you have to wonder at their bias and just downright cheek. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/
  8. Here is a link to the Article. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2407819/Dave-King-pull-plug-Rangers-takeover-bid-despite-losing-45m--EXCLUSIVE.html?ITO=socialnet-twitter-Rangersmail&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=socialnet-twitter-Rangersmail&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed
  9. So these players Ally wanted out, if we don't sell them today [no laughing please], it will be more pay-offs.
  10. It was a nightmare as well. Up till then I had always wanted England to get beat. Didn't know what to do !!!!!
  11. It's a shame that the reputations of some are tarnished by being associated with Murray.
  12. Just noticed this on twitter. Dave King settled on his takeover ambitions... Dave King last night insisted that having to pay £45million to settle his dispute with the South African tax authorities will not halt his Rangers takeover ambitions. Instead, the former Ibrox director said the sum agreed will actually increase his capacity to invest in the Ibrox club - and ensure he passes any SFA 'fit and proper person' test. Speaking as Greenock bus tycoon Sandy Easdale claimed to be the new largest shareholder after concluding a deal to buy the shares of former chief executive Charles Green, King remained bullish over his long-term ambitions. 'I regard the sum agreed as being very acceptable,' he told Sportsmail after all criminal charges were dropped. 'It had no impact on my ability to invest in Rangers. In fact, the opposite is true. 'It means there are now no restrictions on me whatsoever - plus the 'fit and proper' issue disappears as the fraud allegations were finally withdrawn by the state.' King lost £20m in a previous investment in Rangers when the club entered administration. In an interview with Sportsmail three weeks ago, however, he admitted he still sees himself playing a part in the club's future. The Glaswegian exile admits he was offered chunks of shares, but regarded the asking price as 'absurd'. King has already hatched plans for a fresh share issue if he gains control - with the cash earmarked for players rather than the pockets of investors. by Stephen McGowan - Scottish Daily Mail, Sat 31st August http://t.co/4jG7c0Mli2
  13. Sorry to say, some will accept anybody into Rangers.
  14. Why do they give interviews to these reporters. Dave King exclusive with @mcgowan_stephen in tomorrow's Daily Mail.
  15. If any of them take a pay cut I'll be .................surprised!!
  16. Does the Stock Exchange have to be informed first ?
  17. "The Board, which is determined not to incur unnecessary cost for the Club, has therefore secured an extension to the written commitment from the Requisitioners to withdraw potentially the Requisition pending agreement as stated above. If no agreement is reached by the close of business on 30 August 2013, the Board will be required to send notice to shareholders to convene the General Meeting by no later than 5 September 2013." So when will we know?
  18. I'm sure this is just made up, perhaps the whole article is.... There will still have to be additional investment, though? No. From a cash revenue perspective the situation is there is only a small percentage of that £10m that is season ticket money for this season. When everyone is talking about all the season ticket money, that is not the case [some season ticket money is paid by direct debit] . In that number of £10m that is not all the season ticket money, only a percentage of season ticket money. So between now and the end of next season, as part of a going concern basis, they will have to sign off that we have no need to raise cash. That will be a great barometer for the club.
  19. Increased quite a bit this morning.
  20. How many left after Laxey buying some? Also Laxey have an agreement for December.
  21. Sandy Easdale has concluded a binding agreement to buy former #Rangers director Charles Green’s shareholding in May, says Media House. Sandy Easdale agrees deal to take control of Charles Green's shareholding at #Rangers. Green says it means he now has no ties with the club 11:22am - 30 Aug Sandy Easdale: "Between my family holdings & through other supporting investors I now have largest shareholding in Rangers Football Club.”
  22. They don't even agree with some of the figures. Also, instead of producing a 'mini report' on the JG email, why not just ask Jack Irvine, simple.
  23. It's just plain daft, what Company/Football Club would give answers to a newspaper like this.
  24. MH have their hand all over this, Hugh MacDonald just the person to to conduct the interview. The headline gives the clue. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/exclusive-interview-mather-and-commander-has-firm-hand-on-the-ibrox-tiller.22009270 Exclusive interview: Mather and commander has firm hand on the Ibrox tiller.
  25. 3-0 third goal Gallacher. FT
