  1. So the lock-in period is null and void.
  2. @PeterAdamSmith: STV News understands Sandy Easdale bought 1.2million shares in Rangers today and Imran Ahmad is the seller. More on STV News at 6 next.
  3. Never mentioned names, but you mention the RST.
  4. When they find out it has come from yourself !!!!!!
  5. BH I have started a thread on FF, hope your agreeable.
  6. I think we know who bats for who. Once you know I find them quite comical.

  8. RANGERS Chief Executive Craig Mather has today issued the following statement. "At a meeting with supporters last Thursday (August 8) I outlined my intention to convene a Board meeting within seven days to discuss Charles Green's recent public statements. "This meeting has now been confirmed for next Tuesday (August 20). While I understand and appreciate fully the feelings of supporters who have issued a statement calling for action and a resolution this week, I want to assure everyone that the issue will be addressed on Tuesday. "It was necessary and vitally important that I spend time in London this week meeting Institutional investors along with Finance Director Brian Stockbridge. Because of that and the unavailability of other directors, the Board meeting cannot be held until next week. "This delay was unavoidable but the Board will sit next week when all the Directors will be in place. “I believe it is important that we are all in the same room and not on conference calls because this is something we need to address face to face. "That is exactly what we will do and I can assure everyone that I will, as always, do what I believe is best for the Club."
  9. Biggest game of the year back then, tickets were like gold dust, you would send about 20 requests for tickets hoping you would be successful. If you weren't one of the lucky ones, it was the whole family round the wireless, after the game out in the street kicking the ball into the English goal. First time for me was early 60s, 2-0 Caldow and Wilson, returning home was like coming home from war, everybody hanging out their windows waving Scottish Flags. Changed days, but I still want Scotland to win.
  10. I would say forlans sense of humour!
  11. So according to Waltersboy, we can expect to hear from McColl, at least if the EGM goes ahead.
  12. Longmuirs name has been bandied about.
  13. I don't know if this is on the Forum, but it was posted on FF this morning. Jim and his team are doing their bit as he promised , they need your vote to support this proposal . Hopefully a proxy is sorted for all those with shares to support them . The fans 12% will be the tipping point . Jim has told me directly I assure you all 100% ----------------------------------------------- No disrespect to you OP, but did Jim ask you to post this on his behalf ? If he wants our backing why doesn't he come out and say so directly to us ? -------------------------------------------- He will ask directly soon , before the EGM . he didn't ask me to post but did say the fans vote will be crucial and ensure the proxys are legaly watertight .
  14. Not more sh-t to hit the fan?
  15. Sorry but at the moment there are only two choices, to put it simply Stockbridge or Blin, whether anyone tells us their plans or not, you have to decide.
  16. I go along with Andy, comparing the two choices is like night and day, I just don't understand why a Rangers fan would want McColl etc. to fail.
  17. 'On the hoof' seems to have been the order of the day at the meeting.
  18. Did Mather not say they would bring the meeting forward ???
  19. Yes I would prefer McColl/Blin , but after all that's happened they need to be honest and open, although are we likely to get the same from the present Board(?). At least we know of McColl and Blin which actually makes a change.
  20. Is Andy Murdoch going to make a breakthrough this season? So many midfielders now, it's difficult to see when youngsters will get a chance.
  21. No idea, not heard a word about it.
  22. It was the whisky I especially enjoyed, brought back memories.
