Before Caley result, I thought win the three games, and hope they drop points. Not a sliver of doubt that we would take 9 points. Now I am bricking it about the remaining games, strange how the mind works. This Title will be good enough for me........for now at least.

Press Release from meeting of Rangers Supporters Clubs

Graham Speirs I believe. Celtic have privately urged Uefa to intervene in the sectarianism debate in Scottish football, with the hope of making the SFA and Scottish Premier League more forceful in tackling the problem. In private correspondence between Celtic and the SFA, Peter Lawwell, the Celtic chief executive, has also insisted that his club does not have a sectarianism problem, in a clear effort by Lawwell to distance Celtic from the current difficulties being faced by Rangers. Celtic have even suggested that Michel Platini, the president of Uefa, should become more proactive in a debate that is haunting the Scottish game, and which has led to Uefa taking yet further sanctions against Rangers for sectarian chanting. It is believed Lawwell has been irked by recent references to the “Old Firm problem” when, in fact, the chief executive believes that Celtic as a club has little case to answer on the subject. Lawwell’s recent move came in correspondence between himself and Stewart Regan, the SFA chief executive. Significantly, Lawwell also forwarded his letter to Platini, inviting a greater participation by the Uefa president. Platini’s department has since replied to Celtic’s overtures. Some will view Celtic’s positioning on the subject as raising the stakes in the current Old Firm debate, especially in light of Rangers’ recent troubles. The Ibrox club is likely to announce this week that it will not appeal the recent punishment handed down by Uefa — a Ã?£72,000 fine and a ban on away supporters in Europe — following reports of bigoted chanting.- 29 replies

Do they want us to succeed with this ? Perhaps the light would be shone on the true causes of sectarianism.- 29 replies

Whyte offer rejected rumour - denied by Johnston

Agree with this, I would rather Lloyds than unknown sources. I still don't understand why we have to pay off the debt, we are paying it back, and it isn't that much as far as football clubs go. -
We have to do something, it would be a great help if the Club had a closer relationship with the Supporters.

THE intervention of Sir David Murray has pushed the Craig Whyte takeover bid towards the finishing line. Talks will continue today to iron out two details before moving matters on to the Takeover Panel. An announcement that Whyte is the new owner of Rangers could be made today or more probably tomorrow. The Ã?£52.5m deal was opposed last week by the independent committee of the Rangers board, but a summit meeting on Sunday tilted the balance towards Whyte. It is understood Murray, who has owned Rangers since 1988, strongly supported the Whyte bid against the alternative proposal put forward by Paul Murray, the Rangers non-executive director, who is part of a consortium headed by Dave King. Murray, though, is still pushing for Whyte to ring-fence the Ã?£25m of transfer funds earmarked over five years for Ally McCoist, who will take over from Walter Smith as Rangers manager at the end of the season. The Whyte camp has previously insisted this was contrary to good business practice but it is likely some sort of compromise will be found to allow the club to be taken over. Whyte, too, has indicated he will, this summer, give McCoist more than the Ã?£5m originally anticipated. Alastair Johnston, the Rangers chairman who heads the independent committee vetting the takeover move, announced last week that the group was sceptical of Whyte’s ability to produce the money to take the club forward. However, such dissent has evaporated in the face of the reality of the situation. Paul Murray’s bid has been rated too little, too late. The Lloyds Banking Group – the club’s major creditor – has consistently indicated it was content with the deal to pay off the debt negotiated with Whyte. “There was no appetite for renegotiation on the part of Lloyds with another party,” a banking source confirmed last night. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/spl/rangers/whyte-into-home-straight-as-murray-intervenes-1.1098118

On Saturday Spiers had an article about Lennon in the Sports section, Magnus Linklater had an article in the Main section on 'The Old Firm', you can guess which set of Supporters came off worse. This was not the Scottish Edition, but the National Paper, now this article, by someone who has no interest in Scottish Football. It seems strange why this from the National Edition when there is a Scottish Edition. -
Loudest GSTQ for long time.

http://twitter.com/#!/BBCchrismclaug Investigation by Polis Link not working. He says Lennon to be investigated by Strathclyde Police.
