Rubbish. It’s extremely difficult for a young player to break through at a club who have to win every game. Some didn’t make it because of injuries, some because of off field issues, some because the pressure was too great. Boiling it all down to bad coaching is as reductive as it is offensive. We do have an element in our support who continually let us down but no more than any other big club with a large support.

Our away form is very concerning. Still early enough in the season to turn it around.

Think Middleton will start against Ayr in midweek. It’ll be Kent against St Johnstone probably.

Terrific result. Was fearing the worst after the dreadful start but we clawed our way back into the game and could have even nicked a win at the end.
