One good thing is that we do apparently have money to spend so hopefully our 2nd choice target will fancy a move...

Do we?

I get the feeling the £5m we have to spend is a load of bollocks. It's more likely to be a case of 1 out and 1 in. In this case it's looking like 2 out and 1 in or even 2 out and zero in.

Depressing stuff.

20k a week for a mediocre player? You can jet off to Singapore all you want Eagles.

Im going to check if they are playing any games so I can go along and watch him to see how good / poor he is.

I didn't mention £5million or large-scale transfers...

Just that we seem to have £1-2million plus wages available for one player at the very least.

:)

Yeah, sorry, I never meant you saying we had £5m to spend but didn't Bain come out at the end of last season and tell us, the fans that we had £5m to spend on new players?

Can't remember if he specifically mentioned that figure but they did say we had a certain amount to spend and didn't have to sell to do so.

I'd fancy £5million would be for fees and wages over the term of a contract. With the bank not allowing us to pay up transfers, that doesn't amount for much at all.

Yet again we're fed more lies by the board just to ensure season tickets are bought.
