Weiss officially signs - one year loan

Recommended Posts

If we get Jelavic (and I think we will regardless of the Villa results) then it's starting to look pretty reasonable. We'll still have a small squad but the quality looks not bad with Walter choosing his recruits in a manner of the precision of a sniper, contrasting with Lennon's scattergun approach.

With Beattie, Jelly, Maimi Vice and perhaps Bazza and/or Welcome (Welly?) or a couple of others, I will be feeling a bit more optimistic for the season.

Hopefully this now means the end of Lafferty and Naismith on the wing. Just hope that Fleck gets a look in as an attacking midfielder. If Jelavic comes, then Velicka and Lafferty would be surplus to requirements.

I think if there was any chance of Fleck getting a look in anyhwere he'd have played at the weekend when we were so short.

Yep apart from the Jelavic saga(which isn't his fault) he has been going about things in an efficient way. Liking the way he is going about things tbh..not rushing into stupid buys and looking about for quality which the way the club is just now is very important.

Quality over quantity!

It is also refreshing to see that we are spending money :)
