Make Your Mind Up Please Kenny - The Clock is Ticking

Recommended Posts

Keane 6m and Kenny £600,000? Who's in charge at Brum?

They're only paying £4m + some add-ons for Keane apparently, so it's a good deal for Brum considering his CV and the fact that he's still got 2 years on his Spurs contract. Miller on the other hand is slightly older, not as good a player and only has a few months left on his contract with us. The only reason anyone is even interested in Miller is that he's been on fire for us for 4 or 5 months and scored a lot of goals.

Rangers manager Walter Smith says striker Kenny Miller will be involved in Saturday's match against Hamilton at home in the Scottish Premier League.

He had left Miller out of Monday's defeat of Kilmarnock after the Ibrox club had accepted an offer from Birmingham for its top scorer.

"The other night there was an awful lot surrounding him," said Smith of Miller, who is also attracting Fiorentina.

"But that has settled down a bit so he will be involved in the game tomorrow."

And Smith added: "He hasn't signed for anybody yet so he is still a Rangers player. There has been no change; the situation is still in the hands of Kenny and his advisors."

The Rangers boss left the 31-year-old Scotland international out of the team that beat Killie 2-0 in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on Monday, but he believes that the player's state of mind is such that he could feature against the SPL's bottom side.

He said: "We made it clear that we didn't want him to go. If he doesn't go, then hopefully he will play as well in the second half of the season as he did in the first for us.

Glad to hear he will be involved.

If today is a sign of what's to come from Miller then we should be praying for someone to take him off our hands in exchange for money ... Or a player swap.

He wasn't at the races today at all. If Jelavic wasn't quite ready to return we'd have been better with a young lad playing instead of Miller because his mind was obviously elsewhere.

The information that I got today from listening to the beeb is that Fiorentina only want to pay 300.000 for him.(ha ha ha). Miller prefers to go to Italy but Rangers won't agree to the price. The deal with the Brum is 650.000 cash making it up to 1mill if the Brum stay in the EPL

Chicky baby thinks that he will end up signing for the brum.(Has he ever been right)

Jim Traynor stated that MIH and Lloyds still have not got back to Whyte to answer a few questions that Whyte had put to them. Because of that he now reckoned that the odds that a deal could be done was getting smaller. I think we all thought that.

Anyone notice Miller singing along to Follow Follow just before KO today ?

Anyone else think that he would rather stay with us than move.... if only we could get even close to what the other clubs are offering ? Anyone think that he might be stalling so that the other deals fall through ?

:rfc: optimistic loyal :rfc:

Think Eck is playing "the game"..

Rangers agreed a price for the sale, not Kenny... Agreed his form has dipped, but where would your heart be when the club you play for agree a pittance (yes he is old, and only 6 months left..) but he is our top scorer and is (i feel) pivitol to us retaining the Title.

If he stays he could also win the golden boot if he gets his heed down and digs in.
