They're only paying �£4m + some add-ons for Keane apparently, so it's a good deal for Brum considering his CV and the fact that he's still got 2 years on his Spurs contract. Miller on the other hand is slightly older, not as good a player and only has a few months left on his contract with us. He had left Miller out of Monday's defeat of Kilmarnock after the Ibrox club had accepted an offer from Birmingham for its top scorer. "The other night there was an awful lot surrounding him," said Smith of Miller, who is also attracting Fiorentina. "But that has settled down a bit so he will be involved in the game tomorrow." And Smith added: "He hasn't signed for anybody yet so he is still a Rangers player. There has been no change; the situation is still in the hands of Kenny and his advisors." The Rangers boss left the 31-year-old Scotland international out of the team that beat Killie 2-0 in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on Monday, but he believes that the player's state of mind is such that he could feature against the SPL's bottom side. He said: "We made it clear that we didn't want him to go. If he doesn't go, then hopefully he will play as well in the second half of the season as he did in the first for us. Or a player swap. He wasn't at the races today at all. Miller prefers to go to Italy but Rangers won't agree to the price. The deal with the Brum is 650.000 cash making it up to 1mill if the Brum stay in the EPL Chicky baby thinks that he will end up signing for the brum.(Has he ever been right) Jim Traynor stated that MIH and Lloyds still have not got back to Whyte to answer a few questions that Whyte had put to them. Anyone else think that he would rather stay with us than move.... if only we could get even close to what the other clubs are offering ? Agreed his form has dipped, but where would your heart be when the club you play for agree a pittance (yes he is old, and only 6 months left..) but he is our top scorer and is (i feel) pivitol to us retaining the Title.
