Sorry to all the TBK fans , but this guys laid his cards on the table 2 weeks ago and watched every other bidder shite themselves , all the so called Rangers fans wanted the club on the cheap and wouldnt step up so hell skelp it into you

I agree with you, but I'm very surprised this is your view. I thought you'd have been a pro-TBK guy.

Still don't know how anyone back a bidder - we still know next to nothing about what he's going to do.

Sure, we may not have any other option but we need to be on our guard here.

It is difficult without knowing the full details, however the signs IMHO are positive. Miller has a proven & transparent history of taking not just a struggling company (or 2), but a struggling industry, and turning it into a successful venture.

If the DR report is correct, Mr Mill hasn't bothered with the £500k fee....he's just whapped £11m into a holding acount - if that's not a good sign of intention, I don't know what is.

His ongoing plans will be interesting though!!!

Right FS you've lost me here ( I know it's not hard at times ), but has he just not said I'm the only one left I will get the deal done, oh and by the way that stupid Half mill you wanted well its in the pot you can get it when the deal is finished.

Playing D&P at their own game.

It's taken from the first statement he issued, he seemed confident enough to pay it then but when the push comes to the shove he baulks at parting with £500k, I suspect he'll also baulk at parting with £11.2m.

According to the DR this morning, Mr Miller has already transferred £11m into a holding account!!!

Cast your mind back a year ago, there was apparently a holding account containing circa £33m for our benefit was there not?

His business track record appears pretty good, and that Scotland Tonight link guy from the US says he specialises in making money for people. So it seems the guy can turn round ailing businesses and make them profitable.

I like his plan - to create a newco and to separately fix the problems with the old company - before merging together.

I just hope, if we do indeed stay in this shithole SPL, that they don't find more reason to punish us.

This is the bit that worries me....is he (and D7P) saying that just to make it look less of a hatchet job?

I don't believe he will be merging anything, I can't see anything but liquidation of the oldco personally. However by the time it gets around to doing this the newco will be well into the new season and I am sure the hope will be nobody will be to bothered when it does happen as rangers will be progressing nicely under the newco. Paul Clark said yesterday it will most likely still take months to sort out a deal with the creditors, this is a gradual step toward just ditching the oldco.

It's the only part of the plan I don't think will happen, the CVA could be more than a year away longer if they wait for the outcome of the court case with CB people will forget about all that when the new season starts. I still think Miller is the best way forward for us.
