The former under-21 international has spent the last two weeks on trial at Murray Park after becoming a free agent in the summer. He has done enough to convince Ally McCoist that he is worthy of a contract and he has successfully completed a medical and signed a two-year contract. International clearance has come through for Argyriou so he is free to be involved in the third league match of the season if McCoist wants him. Argyriou can play at centre back or a right back. He spent the last two seasons with AEK Athens were he made 11 league appearances and previously played for Panathinaikos. He has seven under-21 caps. Well, for some reason I think Broadfoot has made a better start than quite a few other first teamers. He will sure not be an all-round convincing footballer, but so far he's been up and down the wings in each game and showed commitment second to none. Mentioned that we could soon have four billionnaires as investors. He joked that on Thursday he would make Ally go first into the SFA hearing.
