Transfer thread - OFFICIAL!! David Templeton signs 4 year deal

A few bits and pieces from the Express

RANGERS boss Ally McCoist has offered a deal to former St Johnstone striker Francisco Sandaza.

Sandaza has been on the Ibrox manager’s wanted list for a long time and came close to signing a pre-contract agreement with the Light Blues in the January transfer window.

In the end he opted not to and shortly afterwards the Gers plunged into crisis.

But now the 27-year-old is a free agent after refusing to re-sign for Saints and McCoist has made another move, despite interest in the hitman from abroad.

It’s understood there is an offer on the table and it will be considered over the weekend.

McCoist has already signed Ian Black and Dean Shiels – and although there has been talk of Craig Beattie also putting pen to paper any successful move for Sandaza might put that on the back burner.

But Greek midfielder Pantelis Kafes has left Ibrox without completing any deal.

Kyle's presence could be very useful in games where defences are packed and well organised and we need a battering ram. A one year deal give him the chance to prove his fitness for next season.

I hope we have sense and have it as pay as you play. Otherwise gunslinger is correct in saying its money down the drain cause the guy can't stay fit for a reasonable length of time. I can see another Andy Webster on the cards. Plus our play isn't going to be attractive with him up top.
