Sandaza becomes Ally McCoist’s third capture of the summer, after netting free agents Dean Shiels and Ian Black. He could be eligible to play in Tuesday night's Legaue Cup tie with East Fife if his registration is processed with the Scottish FA and Scottish Football League in time. The striker left St Johnstone at the end of last season after netting 17 times for the Saints. Despite interest from Steve Lomas in bringing him back to Perth, as well as offers from the continent, the Spaniard has opted to pen a four year deal with Rangers. Clive Jagger, Sandaza’s representative, confirmed the contract has been signed.
