the delay of the shirt manufacturer

Indeed he is, would be better keeping himself quiet on that one.

Thing is I doubt it's his fault anyway, it would fall under the scope of our £350k a year plus potentially the same again in bonuses for reasons unspecified plus in all probability a whack of share options commercial director (who rather bizarrely isn't a director of the plc) Imran Ahmed who in his infinite wisdom has hired the commercial guy who got the bullet from Watford who then replaced him with someone who worked for Rangers !

Not got much 'clout' as things stand...maybe when we get back to a league that gets a certain degree of publicity in regards to 'serious' publicity, then we'll just have to wait until then.

In the meantime let's just get ourselves out of this 'mire'.

A couple more seasons of 'mediocre' football should see us there.

more people watch us than Celtc. both in person and on tv. we probably outsell them as well in strips.

i doubt that very much tbh.

"A “big” club like Ajax in a “small” league like the Dutch league might expect to sell 100,000 shirts and probably fewer in most seasons. Celtic (a Nike club) are believed to be the biggest sellers among Scotland’s clubs, with “good year” sales at the lower end of the top 10, ie: several hundred thousand per year, many of them overseas in North America, Canada and Australia."

we dont get a mention anywhere sadly.

a bit more digging reading several different sources it looks like rangers maybe sit around half of celtics number on around 100000 although we must have sold more in 08 as it seemed everyone had the shirt on that day, all quarter of a million of us! :D

Aye, that sounds about right, but you have to remember that we need one shirt to wear to a football game once a week; They need shirts for going on holiday, going to the beach, going sightseeing, going to restaurants, going to the gym, going shopping and they always need a spare fresh one in case they have to run home and change before putting money in the collection tin or helping old ladies with their shopping.

A few years back we were second only to ManU in terms of strip sales.

Not sure what the most recent figures are but I very much doubt Celtic will sell any more than we do. Why would they?

when, the 90's? lol we are nowhere near the top end of strip sales in the uk. not in the top 5 or 6 anyway.

all the lists of the worlds top clubs shirt sales dont even mention rangers. celtic do get a mention though. they average 200000 per year.
